I had fleas this time last year. They are !!!!!!!S!
I got the spray from the vets and hoovered religiously everyday for about 3 weeks. Plus respraying each weekend. We don't have them now but am still paranoid so spray every few months.
this is what I used

I ended up - before I could get the spray putting salt down everywhere! It's supposed to dry them up. It did help a bit.
It is horrible tho so you have my complete sympathy!
Disgusting little yuck bug things!

Thanks Buffy
I had them in one of my old places when I had my cat. The guy there before me had a dog, so they were left over from him and the little sods were rampant when my cat arrived.
I tried stuff back then like powder, but in the end had to get an exterminator in. I'm really hoping the landlady foots the bill for this. I'll keep you updated.

Not as many as I usually do sadly, but I did still get my questions done pretty quickly today

Another vote here for the Indorex spray. When I first got my cat last year my house ended up infested. As you say, could see them jumping about and it was awful, I just wanted to cry all the time. Indorex was awesome though, it's about £10 for big can so one did the trick. Just sprayed every few days for about a week, along with thorough hoovering up and never had a problem since. Xx0

Thank you. If the landlady doesn't pay for professional treatment, I'll give that a try.

Flealady - love it!!
I'm actually sat here in my knee high boots at the moment so the little sods can't get at me!! Drastic, but my legs and feet can't take any more.

I was thinking last night that maybe Flylady isn't the way to go for me. A list like that may distract me from reaching my earnings targets for next month, and I think that's more important than getting the house clean and tidy.
So, I'll reach my questions target each day and then see what time I have left over in the evening. Even just 30 minutes a day has to be better than nothing.
I'm going to try that throughout April and then see if the flat looks better by the end of the month.
