Today has been a difficult one. I started off well, but then OH switched on Netflix, which slowed the internet right down (we don't get that much speed in our area anyway).
We then had to go shopping, so that took some time out of my day, and to top it off, I've had my niece round here since 6pm ('I'm bored, what shall I do now?' - you get the picture).
But NO MORE EXCUSES - I met my target and am sitting pretty on £320!! :j
Now I'm off to bed so I can do it all again tomorrow

Hooray!! Finished my 100 for the day. I'm now up to £360
I might do some more tonight as we're off to the cinema tomorrow evening to see Captain America, and even just earning another £10 will make it a lot easier tomorrow.

Thanks Lou
I managed to earn another £10 last night. We then went out for a drink with some friends. Only cost us £5 so not too bad.
Looking forward to the cinema this evening. I love comic book movies

Reached £400 on the questions, so I'm done for the day. Just in time too, I've got to leave in 10 minutes.

Well done you for getting back into the swing of things so well :j I've really struggled to get anything decent done over the weekend - it's been sooo slow! xx0

Thank you FinanciallyUnsavvy :A - make sure you get on the questions on Sunday morning if you can. There will be loads asking what time it is, as the clocks go back. I always make a mint at that time of the year!!
The movie was good last night - if anyone's going to see it, make sure you stay past the credits as there's a good scene that leads onto the new Avengers movie.
There was a woman giving a speech beforehand about not filming it etc etc. She asked everyone to turn their phones off and said, in a scary foreign accent, 'that is a command, not a wish!!'. Still, I rebelled and left mine on
Looks like another quiet day on the questions. Only 4 done so far. I'm doing some surveys in between and have just requested £1.66 from TCB - better than nothing. I've also got £45 pending on there, so can't wait until that comes through.
Next month, I'm going to stick to my 100 questions a day, but also add up what I get that's extra in cash and vouchers from survey sites. My questions will take priority, but on quiet days like this, I'll do some bits and pieces in between and see how much extra I can realistically get.

I was reading a few of my old diaries earlier on (and I mean 6 years ago old) and I haven't changed much. I'm still nearly always skint, behind on my questions, need money for this bill or that bill, never sticking to anything or finishing off what I set out to do and the debts I spoke about 6-8 years ago are still hanging around.
I really need to change, or I will be reading back on this diary in another 6 years time and saying the same thing (and yes, I'm aware I've probably said this exact same thing in another diary).
I need to stick to this clearing debt malarkey and I need to keep my earnings at a decent level each month.
I'm going to set myself a challenge and actually complete it. I need to prove to myself that I don't always give up on things. Here's the challenge:
Clear my mum's credit card by 3rd July 2014 (100 days time)
The balance currently stands at £1,048.32.
Anyway, back to the questions (it's still quiet) - 59 to go.

Hello Em,
I'm not on here much but I do pop in and lurk a bit! Although that needs to change as I'm slipping into bad habits and need to pull myself back up again before it gets out of hand.!
Reading your worries about your actions reminded me of a couple of articles that were posted on another diary I've read. They've both really helped me gain a better understanding of why I procrastinate and they were light and fun to read. I'll link them here in the hope it can help you too.

Part Two

I found it quite refreshing reading about procrastination in a way that resonates and tells you what's going on in a fun way without advising that you write lists and set deadlines! It's a good read.
It's been lovely keeping up with your progress. Under the circumstances of what life throws at you, you do always come out on top again. Even though you're still in the same place regarding certain areas, from what you say that's actually an improvement as you could so easily have allowed yourself to be pushed back.

Hi MT
Firstly, lovely to see you on here again
Secondly - wow!! That blog post is so accurate it's scary. Thank you for posting the link.
In fact, I'm ashamed to say I've been in the dark playground all afternoon, so I've still got 56 questions to do this evening.
On the plus side though, I started playing free bingo (in between questions) and had a small win, so I had a go on the slots with it and just kept winning. The questions eventually took a back seat and I ended up withdrawing £50 a few hours later. As soon as that comes through, I will pay it off the card.
No excuses though. I must get my 100 questions done, even if I'm up all night (don't worry, I won't be).
