I WILL be Debt Free!!

Firstly, let me apologise. I seem to start a new diary quite often. Everyone's probably thinking 'not another one'.
I seem to chop and change my mind a lot when it comes to clearing debt and this mindset doesn't get me anywhere. I've been thinking over the past few days what I really want - and I want to be out of debt.
I want to feel the feeling of freedom, not have to worry about what the postman brings me, not have to avoid phone calls and not have to jump when there's a knock on the door. I want all that.
Now, I do have an obstacle in my way in the form of Cystic Fibrosis, so there will always be bumps in the road. At the moment, I've just started a new treatment and I'm feeling good. I want to achieve this to spite my illness. There are people out there with CF doing incredible things, so I shouldn't let this stop me from achieving what I really want.
I also want to do this for myself. I set myself challenges and then give up. I don't want to do that this time. I want to start getting rid of some debts. I want to feel that I'm achieving something and not just drifting along. I DON'T WANT TO GIVE UP.
I owe in the region of £42,000. I'll put in my signature what I'm earning each month (I'm self-employed) and the current debt I'm trying to eliminate.
When I'm feeling like giving up, I'm going to come back and read this post and remind myself how much I want to be debt free.
I can't give up and I know I'm the only one who can clear my debts. I'm the only one who can achieve this goal. I don't know how long it will take me, but I will make progress each and every day towards it.
Thanks for reading.

Thanks Lou, as always :A
I saw that the 'Get It Done' challenge has been revived, so I posted a list on there. Need to be more proactive!!
Here's my list to be done by the end of Sunday:
Earn £200
[STRIKE]Get my mum's Barclaycard to under £1,200[/STRIKE]
Empty my washing basket
Religiously do my treatments (CF related)
Buy a mop and then clean the bathrooms and kitchen floors properly
Get rid of at least 10 items from the flat
Sort out my bedside table
[STRIKE]Order my contact lenses[/STRIKE]
Do Nectar Adpoints
[STRIKE]Change the bedding[/STRIKE]
I've also written these in my diary, so there is no excuse not to remember them and get them done as I carry my diary everywhere.

Evening
Just posting before I finish my treatments off and go to sleep. One week done of my disgusting new treatment - 3 to go before I get a 4 week break. I'm glad it's making me feel better, or it seriously wouldn't be worth it.
Will try and get some of my list crossed off tomorrow. I've been working this evening and am up to £20, so 10% of my target for the end of Sunday.
I'm getting some Clubcard vouchers soon, so might put them towards the mop I want.

Happy Shiny New Diary....I'm also along for the ride xXx0

Thanks Helen :A
Early start for me. Halfway through my meds and I've already got one wash on. I'm hoping it will be done so I can get another load in before I leave. Also ordered my contact lenses, so that's one thing off my list.
Be back later.

Happy New Diary, Emz:beer:
As always, your aims are so sensible and but for life throwing difficulties (largely on the health front) in your way you'd have had them all achieved by now. Your spirit and get-up-and-go are second to none and we will all be keeping you company along that bumpy road.0 -
Thanks Jwil and CBC :A
Pretty good morning for me. In between earning £20 on the questions and stuffing my face with donuts (one of the few perks of CF), I have also done one load of washing, put it on the airer, have another in the machine, done a load in the dishwasher (will empty it later when it's cooled down) and tidied the kitchen.
I've also tidied up my bank account and paid an odd £3.02 off the Barclaycard.
Just received my Clubcard vouchers - £7.50 towards my mop and bucket

Evening
Another £40 earned today. I'm hoping I can reach £100 tomorrow.
I got a mop and bucket from Tesco. I only had to put a couple of quid towards it as I used my Clubcard vouchers. OH is away tomorrow night, so I'm going to try and clean the floors then.
I'm just doing my nebuliser and then am going to change the bedding before I go to sleep - nothing like sleeping on fresh sheets
I'm also nearly done with the washing. The third load of the day is currently in the machine and the rest is drying on airers.
Night night.
