    Morning

Sorry I haven't posted for a bit. Really must sort myself out. I'm slipping back into my old ways.

I went to the hospital on Tuesday. Was only supposed to see the nurse, but it turned into a full-on appointment. She did my lung function and it's up to 36%!! :j. That is the highest I can remember it being for ages. I've also gone up to 52.4kg, so another 0.1kg gained in the past 2 weeks.

I explained about the new drug and said that I think it's what caused my LF to drop so much. She agreed and got a doctor in to see me. He agreed too and said I don't have to take it any more (thank god - it was totally foul). I'm going back on 4th April to try another nebulised drug. Knowing my luck, it will be even worse. It's one I will have to take all the time (not 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off like the other), but I get a snazzy new nebuliser to take it with.

OH is away on a course for work at the moment, so I have been enjoying the peace and quiet. He's back tomorrow and he's taking me to Prezzo for a meal as it's our 'anniversary' (we met 13 years ago tomorrow).

  • Great that you have medical support that listens. Here's hoping you go from strength to strength. Enjoy the anniversary meal.

Bit annoyed with my sister today. My niece isn't well (I think it's tonsillitis), so I have had to look after her all day. BIL refused to take time off work and my sister didn't want to leave a colleague on her own. I don't mind looking after her, but I do think my sister should get her priorities straight and look after her daughter before worrying about her work colleague.

Anyway, I've got some nice freebies today. 2 tickets to see the new Captain America movie a week on Monday (we were going to see it anyway, so great to get free tickets), a free eBook (The Quiet Game, not sure if it'll be any good but I'll read anything) and I've won a copy of Gravity on DVD on Twitter (haven't seen it yet either).

I've also been doing some cashback bingo offers and will be just under £40 up when it all comes through.

Better go and pick my nephew up in a minute.

I hope everyone has had a good weekend in the sunshine.

OH took me to Basingstoke yesterday and I bought some new clothes. Kind of feel guilty for spending the money (about £70) but I rarely buy new clothes and did get quite a bit for that. OH buys new clothes all the time.

I went to the cinema with my sister and niece this morning for a free showing of Tangled. My niece loves Disney Princesses and hadn't seen the movie before. She went to the doctor on Friday night and has tonsillitis by the way. She got given antibiotics and seems to be a lot better already.

This afternoon we went to see my grandma as it's her 94th birthday today.

I left my phone at home this morning. I've felt lost all day without it!!

Okay, so I recognise as the months go on, I'm stuck in the same pattern. I start the month off well, then a few days in I go off track and stop earning money for a couple of days. Those days turn into a week and then 2 weeks etc. I then get to near the end of the month and panic that I haven't earned much and work to boost my earnings by £100 or so, promise myself I will do better next month and then repeat the cycle again.

I have done the same this month, but have actually caught myself earlier than I usually do. I guess it's good that I've recognised and faced the pattern I'm in? I know what I have to do, I now need to force myself to get on and do it. No more excuses.

Other things I have noticed about this pattern are that I start to look at doing surveys, comps etc again. I need to stop this. They will not pay anywhere near what the questions will pay me (£40 a day with surveys?? I don't think so!!). I also stop posting on here (as you may have noticed :o).

So, where am I this month? I got my earnings up to £200 yesterday, so with 12 days left, I can earn at least £680 for the month, but I'm going to try and squeeze some more out if I can.

It's pretty quiet on there today, but I'm up to £10 already, and that's with doing the school run this morning. I will reach £240 by the end of the day.

Phew - that felt like therapy!!

£240 earned. Took me a while thanks to the school run, but I got there. My sister has the day off tomorrow, so I'm not on auntie duties.

In addition to the questions, I've received a £10 Sainsburys voucher that I ordered months ago and I've been accepted for a Nair hair removal product trial on BzzAgent.

Just doing my meds and then I'm planning on watching Gravity in the comfort of my bed :)

    Night xx
  • It's weird but everything I see the title of your thread, I think, I know you will! It's so emphatic that there's no room for doubt. I truly believe it will happen.
