£800 deposited after the switch completes. Should this be left in the account until the incentive is received? Sorry if this has already been covered!0

Slightly longer answer: No, because the switching incentive T&Cs don't say you have to.
Much longer answer (and designed to make you think about your question): If you'd switched properly, ie salary and all bills rather than simply for the £100, would you expect to have to leave your salary (or £800 of it) in there and (therefore possibly) not be able to pay your bills for 45 days or whatever?0 -
33 days following the switch I now have the £100 bonus in my account. TCB £50.50 tracked fine so waiting for that to be confirmed and paid.:beer:0

Hello all,
I am looking at switching to Co-op as there is currently £80 Quidco and £100 incentive - £80 Quidco offer is valid until 06/09.
The t&c state 'switch a minimum of two active Direct Debits which must remain active until the incentive payment is made'. I have set up two DD to 2 charities both due to go out on the 20th, but only one is showing in my existing account already. Does anyone know whether I qualify for the £100 - as in do the two new DD which haven't gone out yet qualify as 'active DD'?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Could anybody who has switched through and received Topcashback recently tell me whether they used the 0345 number to arrange switch. I have received a letter telling me that my application has been approved in principle but telephone no. to arrange switch is an 0844. I have found a 0345 number in an accompanying booklet but I'm worried incase I would lose the £84 tcb I'm hoping for by using it.0

My switch date was 11th August from Tesco Bank. I realised my direct debits weren't switched over so had to contact coop. They contacted Tesco and Tesco confirmed it was their error so I had to add the direct debits myself.
Today it is 45 days no sign of £100 bonus. Called customer Services to be told it will arrive on
30th Sep 5 days later. That's 50 days altogether exceeding their 45 day limit to add the incentive. Not impressed at all.0 -
Just to add I waited for the 30th Sep, came and went and no sign of the incentive. I had to ring them again until it was finally credited on 2nd October, that's like over 55 days.0

It seems they've pulled the switch bonus. Links to pages mentioning bonus are either giving error or have no mention of any bonus, just switching. Must have happened recently, I was considering a switch a few weeks ago and pages were showing.0

I just tweeted them asking about if/when they were planning on bringing back the £100 switch incentive, below is their reply. Looks like they are focusing all their efforts on their new crappy rewards scheme.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards.
