Signed up last night via TCB link (£50.50 cash back), email this morning saying subject to formalities I had been accepted. Hoping for an easy £150 to help pay for a dishwasher!

I signed up via TCB 5 days ago. TCB tracked quickly & got them to beat Quidco offer of £50. I haven't had anything yet in the post from Coop. Considering your are meant to be able to complete a switch in 7 working days this seems a bit slow.

Wondering how others have found the switching process?

Where does it say 7 days?
I see 14 at http://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/currentaccounts/125switch. And this means requesting the switch, not completing.

In my wife's recent case it was
    applied and received e-mails - 6,
    a letter sent - 6,
PIN sent - 10 (delivered 27 as it was misplaced by the postman),
    Card received - ~13,
    Switch requested - 14,
    Switch scheduled - 17-27, completed 27

I see 14 at http://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/currentaccounts/125switch. And, AFAIK, this means initiating the switch, not completing.

I thought there was new system in place generally:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/compare-best-bank-accounts
This is because 'seven-day switching' was introduced in September 2013, meaning switching accounts is now – for the majority – quick, easy and completely pain-free.[/QUOTE

It says on the page you linked
    1. Apply for an account
    Switch in 7 working days

    Well, below it says:
2 Complete a full switch to us

You'll need to use the full Current Account Switch Service within 14 days of your account opening
The paper T&C that she received said:
    12. ... You will not be eligible for this offer once it has been withdrawn unless
    ...
12.2 you applied online to open a qualifying account, and you have requested a full switch withing 14 days of the account opening.
This it the only place where I see 7/14 days mentioned.

BTW, all the dates in my previous post were for July.
