I switched to the Coop last year for their £100 offer. Then switched away from them shortly after I had received the £100.

This morning, I had an email to invite me back, and an offer of £100 (plus £25 to charity) if I switch an account to them again. Would be rude not to :)

    I'm sure you'll report back :)

I duly opened the account and jumped through all the hoops. £100 has now been credited :). Sometimes it pays when you don't ask any questions. Although in my excitement, I forgot to go through TCB. May be next time.

My switch took place on 17 Apr, so today is the 45th day. No £100. I might have to make a phone call.

    The TopCashback site says:

"Enjoy cashback from TopCashBack when you open a Standard Current Account from The Co-operative Bank"

    further down it says:

" Customers do not need to have another product with The Co-operative Bank to qualify"

    but immediately after that:

"You must have an active Co-operative Bank Current Account Plus in order for The Co-operative Bank to approve your TopCashback cashback"

You're applying for a Co-op Standard account, you don't need any other Co-op product and yet you must have a Co-op Plus account to get the TCB cashback?

How did you get the TCB cashback? TIA

I applied thought Co-op website and forgot about the TCB offer. I phoned Co-op and expressed how gutted I was that I missed out TCB offer - they immediately sent me the offer. :)

Do people generally find this one less problematic than CB/YB? Pays faster etc. I have one switch to do. First Direct already declined me.

Very straightforward for me. Switched on 27/4/15 and got my £100 on Monday. :)

ruudy, i found Yorkshire Bank to pay promptly, without pushing, but have had to push Co-op Bank repeatedly in the past, and am waiting on them yet again. but Carnival has apparently had no such problems.
