Co-op £100 switch incentive is back

Does the £800 funding for this account have to be every month or a one off to receive the £100 offer?"It would be easier to find a packet of sliced hippopotamus in suitcase sauce" - Basil Fawlty0

Have just switched to Co-op, I like to keep regular checks on the process with mini-statements, and monthly statements. The info pack says the Post Offices can give a mini-statement, but I have just tried and been told that this is not possible. Statements are only triggered after 20 or 25 transactions, not monthly. If you only use the account for the two required STO's or DD's then it could be some time before you find out if you have any problems.0

I only applied yesterday, so I'm NOT talking from experience here, but surely you can monitor it online?0 -
Does anyone know if there's any cashback or referral for opening a Co-op account?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0

Has anyone applying for a Co-op account been declined?
It says "You haven’t had any CCJ’s, been declared bankrupt or defaulted on any credit agreements in the last 6 years".
Would I be declined as I have a default from a few years ago?
Edit: Just applied, so I'll see.
Further update: Just received acceptance email.

Please note that co-op switching terms for incentive have changed. Switching SOs no longer qualifies. See point 7.2.

Good spot.
Think they've also added this:switch a minimum of two active Direct Debits which must remain active until the incentive payment is made:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
