no minimum period to keep a/c. Transfer all out to a better rate ? and leave £1 in a/c to use for eg M&S

I've got the £100. Didn't need to complain or chase up either. Before I switch to M&S does anyone know how the £25 to charity thing through Coop works?

Just emailed complaint to Niall in the hope that the response time is quicker than the 8 weeks last time, will be taking this to ombudsman if they don't pay up.

I also got an email saying my overdraft will be cancelled at renewal unless I reapply. Much preferred the lloyds system of auto renewal. Will be jumping ship as soon as I get my £100, they really can't run a bank!
Make £10 a day challenge in Feb £325.82/£280
    March £78/£310

Do COOP ask 16 digit no. of old account you want to switch from? can find sc and account no. but not my debit card.
Seen that one post said that this is necessary, did you all have to give them this?

They asked me for the debit card number / details, and as I had it, I don't know what would have happened if I did not have the card. Best give them a quick call to ask. I suppose you could always order a new debit card?

Hi when using the Coop switching service do they close the a/c you are switching from or just take the 2 DD's or SO's?

All current account switches now require your old account to be closed. Not particular to the Coop.
