Co-op £100 switch incentive is back

When switching will 1 direct debit and 1 standing order do the trick?0

I applied for the account and initially I was accepted for the account and I even received the welcome pack but after that I got a letter that they can't open the account for me. Probably they have checked that last time I just got the £200 incentive and closed the account after that..
Anyway I just received £125 from First Direct. Next is M&S current account...0 -
For anyone thats done the switch, the T&C's says the switch must happen within 14 days of account opening. I'm going on holiday shortly and was wondering if the switch can be completed without receiving anything (e.g new debit card) in the post off them.0

Only speculating, but I really hope it's not a case of someone who contributes nothing asking a question that's been asked dozens of times already if they cared to search, reporting a post that points this out to them, resulting in another valuable, regular poster being banned...
Hopefully MSE will recognise the value of posters like her and reinstate her soon.0 -
This has been discussed elsewhere, though its not clear whether the PPR was temporary or permanent
.
Fear not though, I'm sure innovate is still imparting her wisdom0 -
She would be, but I doubt it would be on MSE. Afaik she was mightily displeased with MSE's approach to silencing some views and some users. As neither she nor MSE will give an inch, they'd never get on together so I reckon she's moved on to pastures new for good. Shame really, as the MSE forum is poorer for her absence.0

I've just applied online for the Coop account and on the last page it asks for your "MAIN" current account so I put the details of the main account I use at Nationwide but this isn't the account I wish to switch so will this matter when I phone up to do the switch?
I assumed that the reason was for a credit check but fear now that I have waisted an application by putting an account that I won't be switching!!0 -

Don't worry! Like you I specified my main account when applying even though I intended to switch an unused account. When I came to requesting the switch I specified the unused account. No one questioned why this was a different account.0
