Huggles Lame Wolf that doesn't sound good, now go rest pretty please.
I have no reason not to fly so back to the hoovering. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Managed 3 gym classes so now I'm exhausted! On the way home I got a few bargains and planned stuff from the c0-0p, then stopped off and mucked out OH's horse as we're going to the pictures this eve (me and OH not me and horse.........).
Have checked work emails and irritatingly I've got one student at 10am tomorrow and one at 4, so I'll have to find something useful to do in the meantime otherwise I'll eat and waste time.
Need to ring a client now, my least favourite thing telephones
Then set up new computer in office; now all emails seem to work I next need to find out whether the printer will talk to it, so fingers crossed. Just a few more papers to carry upstairs and file from the lounge, then the lounge is ok.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
work friend dropped round for a cuppa before work so sideboard only got a quick tidy but i did sweep under it and cull 3 jigsaw, 3 packs of cards, a pass the pigs game, and a movie quiz board game i think the photo side will be left for another time as that will take all day on its own.
meeting after work lasted an hour instead of 1/2 but i will get paid, wasnt worth friend going home so she came round for another cuppa before time to go back to picking her DD up from school.
id left a jacket pot in for DH lunch as i knew id miss him with the meeting, so going to wash his plate and our cups then tackle the filing cabinet drawers.
LW, lots of rest and a call to the drs i think.
pigpen, hope things improve for you soon.SPC~12 ot 124

Right, time to do the word processingCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Not doing badly ive sorted all of the computer desk, and moved it to hoover behind. Im nearly dying of dust inhalation!!
Also took the aerial from the tv to dd's room as its unused in the front room.
I pulled down the curtains and put them in the washing machine & re-hung them wet, is it ok to do that?? The rad is underneath to dry them.
Then ive dusted all of the surfaces, cleaned the windowsill of doggy paws, and put loads of magazines & catalogues in the bin.
There is a big cupboard in there but i honestly cant face that today :-/:
Ill give the bathrooms a wipe later but they dont really need it cleaned them properly sundayStill here..... but working on that!0 -
YORKSHIRE LASS
I put the washing on my airer like you said, and it's amazing, my DS huge duvet & sheets were bone dry!
When you do underwear do you just lay this on top of the other stuff?
LAME WOLF
If you are not happy with the diagnosis then you must get another opinion, even if they say the same thing it will put your mind at ease. If you do see a locum or another GP don't mention what the other dr said and see if they draw the same conclusion. I know they have notes but they sometimes only get skimmed! Also another practitioner may have different ideas for treatment.
Have you thought of acupuncture or seeing an alternative therapist for an opinion? My work colleague had a neck problem and conventional dr's said she had to live with it! She had acupuncture (about 5-6 sessions) and has never been better! Just a thought.
Out for a curry tonight with my DS and DD, really looking forward to it

xx🎄The most wonderful time of the year 🎄0 -
Thanks for the support, folks.:A I don't like to go on about it too much to Mr LW, as it'll only worry him, and I have no-one else IRL to talk to.
I just logged onto the GP appointments system; there are no appointments at all to be had this side of Feb 10; and after that, precious few with a female Doctor.
When I do go, Mr LW is going to have to arrange to work from home, and take time out to take me, (cue much grovelling to his boss) so as I'm due a meds review in the fairly near future anyway, I think I'll do it all in one fell swoop, to avoid him having to grovel to the boss twice - his work has changed somewhat in that he's no longer doing the early/late shifts, so doesn't get to work from home as a matter of course, he's got to beg for it and justify why he wants to do so. I shall therefore be haunting the online appts system, waiting for them to extend the bookable dates into March/April.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
LW virtual hugs and hope you get some reasurance soon and a cancellation appt to put your mind at ease.
got the entire contents of the top filing cabinet drawer out dysoned the drawer out and am slowly working through the contents to see what needs to go back in
i have christmas card fronts that can go
enough old school books (unused to keep me in shopping lists and note paper for the rest of my days its absolutely bulging with stuff and that just the top drawer.
edit
filling cabinet is now all back in tidy. less a bag full of old paper junk that can be recycled (some needs shredding first) have also used up 50 sheets of coloured printer paper doing some leaflet/flyers for my friend/hairdressers shop. will cut them up later as i did 4 per sheet and declutter them to her next time shes open. need to sweep the floor again now.SPC~12 ot 124

Results aren't looking promising for DS1' mocks he has so far got an E and a U. I'm hoping to have a word with school. I'm not expecting much as when he dropped chemistry they wouldn't talk to me and said they had spoken to him.
Home made pastry free quiche just made and eaten and cleared away
DS2 bathed
DS1 counselled
Cat dealt with
Headache gained
Zumba attended
Mrs S visited for the parents.
Dancepops & gran visited and their paperwork looked into.0 -
Shower room sparkley, two letting rooms turned around and ready for new arrivals (one tonight, one tomorrow), bottom two runs of stairs and back landing vroomed, and middle layer dy$oned by OH as I was running late.
The sitting room is chokka with OH's stuff, and that realisation means I now understand why my office is my RoD. (All of my 'stuff' is in it, everthing, apart from my day to day clothes.) I can't wash the soft furnishings in the sitting room either, as it hasn't stopped raining since October last year - or was it the year before? Anyway, il pleut in Plymouth. Pretty much permanently.
It was pleuting in Tavistock, too.Better is good enough.0
