Fizzwhizz, yuk, I have suffered with the same problems many times and it makes you feel rubbish. Hope you are better soon. Same to psychopathbabble, hope the migraine has gone.

Deco, I am no expert but is there anyone who would listen and just let you offload your feelings without giving you too much advice or being too judgemental? I know it can be hard to get the right sort of help but if you need to speak to professionals just go and demand it. Hugs x.

Emily, I am so like you. OH will say just leave it and sit down but I cant relax in a messy house, it makes me miserable and I would rather keep doing a bit every day and feel like I am achieving something, even if I am really tired.

Well I had better get myself in the shower. Another day full of paid stuff and it sounds very wet out there (again). Have done a bit of ironing this morning and will put another load in before I go to work.

    Morning all

Two away to school, one to work still to go (he was grumpy last night so I'm keeping out the way).

Going to get on with some daily stuff and need to go to the shops today to get some bits for DS3 birthday. I want to get at least one more drawer done today but hoping to do all 3 in the desk.

Piggers -thanks for asking about DS3, he still feels bad of a morning but is back to going on the bus everyday. I think he is suffering more from general anxiety rather than anything in particular and that it is just the way he is for now, very sensitive. Hope you are less exhausted today.

my blinds are coming back after being shortened for the kitchen window.

I know your joy! - my blinds for the kitchen and DR are finally being installed today :D

Me too! Hopefully the Garden Gang will finish today and leave us in peace, then I can get on with planting when the weather allows. Atm the only digging being done is by a very active mole who has left yet another mound in the middle of the back lawn

I finally finished clearjng the study/bedroom yesterday :D DH is going to start moving books back into his playroom today, and we are going to 1ke@ so that he can order his storage cabinets (and pay for them himself) and get them delivered tomorrow. When I turned out my handbag yesterday I discovered a bill for the extra B1lly shelves, of which I had two left over, so they can go back and the refund will help to plug the hole that is draining my bank account.

My "to do" list for today is so long that I won't waste time copying it :o

Deco, the older I get, the more I realise just how differently men and women view relationships. Huge (((hugs))) to you. I hope you get the help you need very soon.

Hugs and spoons to all who need them, with an extra large pile of spoons winging its way to LW and anti-pleuting vibes for the West Country and anywhere else where the rain never seems to stop.

LW~~~ guess what I am off from job 2 Thursday and Friday, :j and ment to be at job 1, but I can skip that :rotfl:, I do have an appointment at 8.15am Thursday morning for about 1 hour, so I can be in MK to pick you up from about 09.45 am, then I can transport you where ever you wish, if need be we can stage a sit in :D (flylady cakes and food parcels will be needed as we may be some time) at the dr's, untill they find a female dr with a free apointment to see you, enough is enough, you are clearly in pain etc.~~ please take this as a serious offer.

There is no such things as 'no appointments' if you are in great need and you are. I once did this with my mother, after a lot of cherfuffle she was seen with in 20 mins was they relised, we were not going any where, and of course my mother knew just about every one coming in, so she told them very loudly, that there were no apointments etc. :rotfl:

    Other wise daily stuff done

New a/b's seem to be doing their trick, guag seems to be arriving again! :T

    morning all
decko sending you massive supporting hugs we are all here for you so please dont feel you have to go through any of this alone.
LW hope you are managing to rest your wrists at least some and they are a bit less swollen today.
hugs good wishes and positive vibes for all who need them.

had insurance documents in my inbox when i got up this morning so they have all been printed off, copies sent into school with DS2 and others in correct piles ready to give to the right peolpe and copies for my records. sent money into school for something DS2 has made. Dh went thought the books and agreed with me on all bar 3 of them so hes keeping those 2 are being given to a friend and the others can go to the CS all mags are now in a bag ready to recycle.
got friends funeral this afternoon so only about before work today but will see what i can get done
    Marvellous Monday Basics
Wipe the kitchen sides (just what you can see)
Clean the kitchen sink, slosh some soda crystals and hotwater down
    Hoover and mop the floor

Reception Room (Living Room/Dining Room/Conservatory) Declutter
Imagine how you would like the room to be at the end of the week.

Rehome anything which does not belong in this room to its correct place (if it doesn't have a home then this is part of your problem, you need to find it one or question if you really need it ). if there was a nodding smilie it would be inserted here. my prob is definately more stuff than space. i have vowed not to buy more wool or cross stitching stuff till ive used up what i have and because we have a small kitchen the ironing pile/basket is stored in the lounge so if its not kept under control it can take over unless hidden in one of the rooms upstairs.

    Tremendous Tuesday Basics
    [STRIKE]S&S toilets and sinks[/STRIKE]
Hoover and mop the bathroom floor
    [STRIKE]shine mirrors[/STRIKE]

    Reception Room Declutter
Today's aim is to deal with all the stuff that is hidden away under the sofa, in cupboards and drawers and stuffed in corners. Concentrate on one area at a time.

Wash any soft furnishing that need it.

    Wonderful Wednesday Basics
    Hoover Hall, stairs and landing
    Change a bed
[STRIKE]Deal with any urgent paperwork [/STRIKE]

Reception Room - Let the deep Clean begin

Time to sort out book shelves, DVDs, CDs etc. Give the shelves a good sort. Do you need them all. Which haven't been looked at for years. If you've got lots to get rid of you can make a decent amount scanning and selling them. Dust the shelves and on top of them - I sometimes use the hoover brush for this especially on top of books.

Start high up and work down so that dust does not fall on areas you have already done
[STRIKE]Ceiling first - I hoover mine but you could use a sheep on a stick
Next wipe the picture rail if you have one[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Dust/wipe/hoover or take outside and shake the light shade, wipe the bulb [/STRIKE]DH did these at weekend
Curtains and cushions either hoover them, take them outside and shake and bash them or give them a wash all depending on care instructions.
[STRIKE]Any pictures carefully remove from the wall and dust the back of, give the wall a wipe where they have been.[/STRIKE]:eek:so thats where the dust bunnies live
[STRIKE]Dust behind the radiator - put an old sock on a a sturdy stick if you don't have a radiator brush.[/STRIKE]

    my list
[STRIKE]scouts tonight check all stuff ready[/STRIKE]
    clear ironing pile again
funeral to go to this week, check DH has suitable shirt etc
80th birthday party, get card and pres sorted.
[STRIKE]ring insurance if no email by friday.[/STRIKE]all sorted
    [STRIKE]meeting after work tomorrow[/STRIKE]

    better go and do something

Painting, glossing & wallpapering. My dad is lending me the money to get the guttering done (my family don't know I'm moving!) but it all adds up. Counselling I would expect to be £30 to £40 an hour (or 2 tins of paint) plus I need to find someone that does CBT (the counselling I had before) I had humanistic counselling and it wasn't for me.

Here it seems humanistic counselling rules and CBT is hard to find unfortunately.

CBT is available on the NHS, I was referred, it took a while for an appointment to come through but it did! :)

Off to work (paid)! I have an interview for a full time position next week, getting nervous as I type

    Have a great day.

Love n hugs to all especially decko n LW.

Not been too good the past few days here - but won't go into it as in the grand scheme of things it's not much. Hopefully will be able to pull my socks up and get going again.

BTW my "pile" is now in a box measuring 2 ft wide by 1ft high and 1ft deep - and has been going since before we moved to this house in 2000!!!! I can barely lift it!!! There are now mini piles in every downstairs room of the house except kitchen - so perhaps that's why it's bad here at the moment?!

Will check what today's list is and try and add onto Monday and Tuesdays and actually DO something today.

Love to all and thanks for being there. xx

Wow I just had a really bad case of deja vu :( wasn't nice, made me feel quite sick.

Won't get much done this morning as I have the horrible back to work thing again :(
I've had to fill in this basic c.v form and couldn't remember any dates. I've searched the house for an old c.v but it looks like I've binned them in the naïve thought that my last job would be my last job. I loved it so much.

DW on, dog blankets in WM, coffee decluttered and DD1 dropped at work and that's about it for now :(

LW - PLEASE take kazw up on her offer. I know you don't like the phone, but you could also see whether the practice nurse can give you a call (our practice uses this for triage - the nurse calls and assesses whether you need to see a doctor, and if so, books you in to an emergency appointment). Kazw is lovely, and I'm sure she can work with you on strategies to make everything as stress free for you (not the surgery ;)) as possible.
