Deco, the Winter Blues at this time of year have A LOT (v. shouty, because I need to know you're hearing this) to answer for. You've been so energised since you made the decision to move back to your adopted town that I'm not surprised you're flagging.
The painting, the moving, and all other self-imposed deadlines will not hurt by being deferred for a week or two while you deal with the issue that is holding you back from being happy, fulfilled and at peace with your loss. It is my personal belief that the model a counsellor uses is less important that the relationship you have with them. In addition, if you can approach an organisation that deals specifically with relationship issues such as Relate, they have a sliding scale of charges based on what you can afford. Hugs, hugs and more hugs.
Lamewolf, I had a little soggieness around the eye areas when I read Kazwookie's offer. I hope you can take her up on it. Hugs to both of you.Better is good enough.0 -
hugs to you added to the list honeybear, that is very honest and helpful comment to decko and LWSPC~12 ot 124

good morning ladies.
It's so wet outside!
I'm not working today as I have to collect FIL from hospital where he is having a procedure done.
I'm waiting for the oven cleaner to work its magic and have put the DW on a cleaning cycle.
Deco good advice and kind words have been said by clever compassionate fly ladies. I agree with them and hope you can make small steps to help you find a way through your feelings.

Morning all
LW - Extra hugs. Trying a different GP is a good idea.
Deco - Extra hugs to you too.
Hugs, sticks, spoons and coffee/tea for all
Didn't get much done yesterday after my last post. DD needed help with her algebra homework. She was getting herself confused trying to use a basic calculator to work out values. With one question she got an answer of over 1000, the actual answer was 78. Trying to explain where she was going wrong, and going through it step by step with her (AF is visiting her so she's like a rabid animal) wore me out and gave me a headache.
I'm seriously thinking of trying to find some GCSE maths things online to do in my downtime so I can get to grips with the terminology as some of it has changed since I did it. Thankfully most of the methods though I understand having worked with year 6 kids for 2 years.
I did manage to clear the ironing pile after starting it about 10.30 last night
I didn't get to bed until 00.45 but the ironing is done, and I'm sorted until the post uniform washing on Friday
Unfortunately there's some railway maintenance going on by me which means traffic is diverted down our road and last night it was really busy and kept me awake until gone 2am. I think its on going until April as well. Bet I just get used to the increased traffic when it stops :rotfl:
Wednesday:
- Paid stuff
- Tea is SC (beef in ale?)
- Chase DD for a bath.
Personal:
- Email (log into work email online and sort, personal email to sort, follow up anything needing action, do surveys etc)
- Log into school website after finding parent log in info (add log in info to diary reference page) chase up any log-in problems asap.
- Sort out lists to laminate (time management plan for 3 week schedule)
- Shredding?
- Sort this years birthday card list out (Double check there's no 'special' except DD turning 13 & Nephew 1st)
- Errand list for Friday (bank, card shop, supermarkets?)
- HH photo sorting. (Yes, that Cane toad is back on my list )
- Vacuum through downstairs (post shredding!)
I had best get on with paid. My delivery hasn't long arrived (normally its here by 8.30am at the latest) and there's only 2 boxes so I hope it goes smoothly

Hi all,
Wash day wednesday for me, pretty much all I need to do today includes laundry! Have 2 loads washed, 1 more currently in the machine, then time to hang it out (on dryers in various rooms) and after that do the ironing loads I've been keeping til today.
So thats me.
Do need to keep an eye on the kitchen hotspot, that corner of the worktop attracts "stuff"Sealed Pot Challenge - #462

Deco, some really excellent counsellors do pro bono (free) or sliding scale fees depending on your income.
Just been called for breakfast so will see y'all later.

Deco I know for a fact you can get CBT on the NHS as that's what I'm waiting for - I went to my GP who referred me to Lift Psychology who then have said I need CBT. Why don't you have a word with your GP? Sometimes just talking to someone impartial really helps; we're all here for you.
Lamewolf you've had a couple of really kind offers so please take Dusty and Kaz up on them; you need to see someone sweetheart (hugs).
Had a lovely start to the day as had a corn cut out - how exciting is that ! Bit tender now but to be expected. Been doing paid stuff since and just about to type another job up then flying. Cold here so put the wood burner on - my little dog Pip is lying flat out with her tummy towards the fire; she luffs being warm, bless her!!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
