Oh dear not fun if you're sore. Bath and a bit of a sort round sounds like a nice evening.
Bet that wood will turn up!!!Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
I reckon Mr Cheery's packed it in a box
:rotfl: That's my excuse for anything I can't find at the minute :rotfl: :rotfl:

right - bath nearly ready now :j
Five mins done in attic - tidied up the bookshelves which have hardly anything else on now - what remains can probably fit in one box tomorrow :j Also found some work library books which I'll take back tomorrow.
Then fifteen mins in bedroom  Quite overwhelming in there (partly as Mr Cheery was clearly looking for something specific before he went out and lots of his clothes are all over floor  ) Ignored all thatand focused on my shoes
I keep a suitcase for seasonally inappropriate clothesso packed away sandals etc, and sleeveless tops, and (sadly) got out some wintery stuff which fit last year when I was 2 stone lighter...
Now in a pile for the charity shop
Can actually get at my remaining 6 pairs of shoes now :j
LOTS more to be done in there  but 15 mins at a time and all thatWill concentrate on my own stuff and leave Mr Cheery to sort his, although I might have to actually hang some up so I can get at mine...
anyway, enough waffle - best get in this bath before it actually goes cold:rotfl:

Morning all :hello:
I'm on the bus, again... Managed to bring a cup of tea with me today :j Wouldn't normally buy one, just wait til I arrived at 9.30, so this is a nice treat
Flylady babysteps day 15 today, and I'm amazed I've lasted this long :rotfl: Today (apparently) we're adding 'make the bed' to our morning routines
Except I'm afraid I'm notNaughty cheery
But I'm ALWAYS up first, and even if I I then go up and make it, Mr Cheery often has a nap, so it's all higgledy piggledy again when I go to bed.
After 10 years I've accepted this, especially as the bed is on a mezzanine so you never see it unless you're actually up there. Maybe in new house when bed is on the floor and I can just run past it...
Anyway, instead I'm making the sofa :rotfl: Lots of cushions and blankets on there too, often higgledy piggledy, so I'll be straigjtening it when I get up every day which is a good start:j :j
Right, might actually make the train without running today!! :rotfl: Have a good one folks!0 -
Ahh I'm a step ahead of you on the bed thing - although I only make my side of it, usually. Totally agree with there being no point in trying to make a bed while someone is still in it though! MrEh generally straightens his side when we get home in the evening so it is done by the time we got to bed, at least. I generally do the whole thing once a week as he has a far more ropey idea of plumping up pillows etc than I do! Great plan with sorting the sofa instead though v- how lovely to have it looking all cosy and welcoming ready for when you want to sit on it!
Great work sorting a cup of tea to take on the bus too - if I'm heading up to Lincoln for a day and leaving early I always take a cuppa in my nice insulated mug - sipped slowly it often lats me pretty much to Cambridge! :T
Hope the tooth is feeling a bit more co-operative today?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Sadly my mug isn't insulated, so tea doesn't stay hot for very long :rotfl: it's several years old now so when my mum asked for a list of stuff I wanted for Christmas I put a new one on it
Tooth not hurting constantly, but face still hurts when I touch it and it's still swollen. in York today but back to dentist tomorrow!
Whole office festooned with cakes, gingerbread, mince pies... I fear my slimming world journey will have taken a step backwards again this week...:rotfl:
Have to keep reminding myself that while I haven't lost much, at the rate I was going I'd have actually added another half a stone by now if I hadn't staryed goig again  So even standing still is no bad thing  :rotfl:
Not exercising much either til tooth sorted as it makes it throbApart from the half marathon I sneaked in, of course :rotfl: but the rest of me hurt in that so I didn't notice so much :rotfl:

Well, I lost half a lb :rotfl: which makes a grand total of 4.5lbs in the last 9 weeks :rotfl: :rotfl:
But hey, for the last year I've been GAINING weight at a rate of half a stone every 3 months  so I'm counting this as a bonus :j :j
Anyway, I won the raffle :money: :rotfl: 50p and I got a hessian lunch bag, a bag of 7 apples, a box of grapes, a sachet each of hot chocolate and some kind of peanutty hot drink, a thing of ainsley harriet cous cous, a mug shot thing, a can of pop, and a tupperware thing to carry your lunch inI like (mostly) edible raffle prizes (although they do usually involve chocolate - bit bad if this one had though :rotfl: )
Working at home tomorrow, and I'm having an exciting day with a trip to both the dentist AND the doctor! Woo hoo! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Oops, also mean to say 5 mins done in workshop, and 15 mins in the bedroom - cleared out my sock drawer, two underwear baskets, and two nightwear etc baskets
Actually threw away some underwear and socks!! :rotfl: And packed away some tights etc that I've not worn for a while - if I haven't dug them out by the spring, I'll ditch them altogether :j
Tomorrow I'll get the hoover in the nooks and crannies by the bed while it's light...0 -
Half a pound off's alright - better than half a pound on anyway, and especially in the light of the .....*drum roll*..."Cake Conspiracy" at work! :T Well done on the raffle too!
Socks - the ones I'm wearing today are DEFINITELY going in the bin tonight as they walked right down my feet and wandered off into my boots as I walked in from the car this morning. HATE that - annoying enough with wellies but even worse with regular boots, so these socks will be going.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Good plan - can't have pesky misbehaving socks with their own minds!
Right - doctor done - after waiting half an hour they told me I could have done it over the phone (even though the online prescription renewal said 'you MUST see a doctor before we can renew'). Ah well - I don't have to renew til April and I know what to do next time!
These are the tablets I have to take every day for the rest of my life, so anything that helps me get hold of them more easily is goodI already do a 'repeat dispensing' thing where they give me a year's worth of prescriptions to leave at the chemist and collect every 8 weeks, so at least this fiasco only happens once a year :rotfl:
Also been to the dentist - dry socket is now healed :j :j but gum is swollen and infected, as I expectedNow have antibiotics and hopefully they'll clear it up pretty quickly! :j :j
Good job I get free prescriptions else today would have been rather expensive :money: :j
Right - best actually get on with some work now! :eek:0
