Perhaps better conditions today than expected? I think I would need that cap firmly hairclipped to my head to keep it on here.
Thinking of you. Whilst on sofa with a nice cuppa.
Hope you had a laugh on the way around and they saved you a goody bag.Mortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Good luck with the run cheery :j:j:j
When you say "another" email does that mean you've sent lots :rotfl:
I hope sowhat a jumped up little ooooh, it makes me cross when customers get spoken to like that. It wouldn't have took seconds to do a sign and instead they were rude and unhelpful  the customers pay their wages. He's obviously not very mse
I remember marathons before they were called snickers :rotfl: I easily did a whole one or twoevery week!
You're probably way too young to get the joke0 -

You're probably way too young to get the joke
:rotfl: :rotfl: very funny misspickle. I'm younger than Cheery (only just but shh!) and I got it :rotfl:
Well done for your HM cheery. I'm kinda glad I wasn't running today after seeing the weather and all the wet/muddy/drowned rats pictures posted by my running club on FB today. Made me almost glad I had a decent excuse not to be running tooGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Kind of wish I'd had a decent excuse Starnac :rotfl: :rotfl:
I'm not that old Miss Pickle!!Most amusing
I do love a nice snickers
Race was hard work :rotfl: Sister got lost on the way :rotfl: we were SO very far behind everyone else we had to do a final lap of the race course after everyone else had finished:rotfl: :rotfl: All by ourselves - all deserted and very surreal :rotfl: Marshalls turned the music up as we finished, and 10 of them came out in high vis jackets to run with us over the line
:rotfl: :rotfl:
Home and exhausted now! In need of a nice bath0 -
oops, missed you there chocforever, sorry!
:hello:
They did indeed save us a goodbag - we could probably have had a few since quite a lot of people didn't turn up :rotfl: We actually came in within their cut off time, so I would have been extremely cross if they hadn't!
And as for my complaining email, er, there has been just one morebut that was about staff reluctance to be on tills and the amount of times we've just dumped our baskets and gone to the supermarket next door so a similar issue
:rotfl: Hate complaining and don't usually do it but I WANT them to be better!
So, while I'm waiting for my bath to cool down (because we STILL haven't fixed the cold tap:rotfl: ) - FLYLADY!
Today is Day 6 of my babystepsAnd I did, as requested, get dressed to (running) shoes, and am now thinking about negative voies in my head
Must confess I haven't yet spent two minutes clearing off a 'hot spot' (place where you dump a load of stuff and it attracts more stuff) - but while the bath cools I might spend 2 mins tackling the clothes pile in the bedroom :j :j
Been very nice this week keeping the sink clean and tidy before I go to bed - even did it last night when we had friends round :j0 -
Hope that bath was good lass and yay to baby steps!
Well done on the race xxxxTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
:money:Sleeves up folks.:money:0 -
Well done on completing the half marathon. Very impressive.
I'll be interested to read what you sign up for next.
Have a good week xMortgage, draw down Sept 2014: £222,000

Thanks chocforever
I confess it's my 7th half marathon (I think) and 5th slowest, so right now it doesn't feel too impressive
:rotfl: :rotfl:
But thanks anyway
Triathlon in the spring is the next thing, I think! :j Undoubtedly I'll come last in that tooThis will by third, but my sister's not done one before so I'm hoping I'll be able to get slightly in front of her at some point...
Face STILL hurting and woke me up at 3am again  so off to the ominously named 'sit and wait' appointment at the dentist at lunchtimeRather fed up of it now!

Anyway - Flylady today.... Day 7 of the babysteps for me...
BabyStep: Day 7
So far we are:
Getting dressed to lace-up shoes
Keeping our sink shining
Read your FlyLady emails
Looking at our posted reminders
Recognizing the negative voices
Put out your Hot Spot for two minutes. Just
pick one!
Today we are going to add a new habit to our before-bed routine. Tonight, before you hop in
bed, I want you to pick out what clothes you are going to wear tomorrow. You can lay them on a
chair, on a shelf, hook in the bathroom, or on a hanger on your door knob.
Oddly enough, I do actually do this most days (NOT just from the bathroom floor!! :rotfl: ) - a habit I picked up from flylady things over the years and one of the few things I didn't drop. Barely any lights in our bedroom and as I often leave for work quite early I can't be banging around waking Mr Cheery up. So - tick! :j :j
Mission today (which I'm keeping up with when I can, but concentrating on the babysteps...)
We're in the bathroom and guest room...
1. Wipe round the back of the toilet
2. 15 mins decluttering in the guest room (for me this is the attic, where I also work and where all my craft stuff is. Had a lot of decluttering lately and many things are packed into plastic tubs ready for (eventually) moving, but there are still bits lying around!
Right then, got a couple of hours to squeeze a bit of work in before I have to go to the dentist..0 -
Well done cheery :T:T:T0
