Well yesterday was a bit of a slow day, but I did get a decent bit of work done. didn't sleep well at all, painkillers just would NOT kick in and ended up awake quite a bit. on the train to work now feeling like some kind of zombie
Didn't get in til half 9 last night and couldn't face making dinner so have landed up with cous cous and a salad thing from the shop on the way. Not as cheap as from home, but cheaper than going to the cafe for lunch where I'd undoubtedly land up with several cakes, I'm so tired...
Today's tasks are (a) not.eat my own weight in cakes and (b) not fall asleep anywhere visible
:rotfl: realistic priorities:rotfl:

Sounds like good priorities today. I may have similar life goals today :rotfl:Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Always good to have something to aim for, I feel!
:rotfl:
Forgot to mention - I bought a 20 trip bus ticket for £10 in the summer for getting to the office :money: 50p a trip, when normal single price is £1.50 :j However, the other bus company kept turning up first and while I don't mind waiting, if the train was later it starts to make me a bit too late for work (and it's starting to get too cold for hanging about  )
Last week the other bus company introduced a 20 trip ticket too :j :j £15 this time, but still only 75p a trip, and now I have one for each company I can just hop on whichever turns up first :j
Of course this morning they both turned up at the same time :rotfl: and the £10 one has increased theirs to £15 but I won't need another one after this so I don't care :j :rotfl:
No way I'll use them all up - got 15 left on one and 18 on the other and I've only got 21 working days left, half of which are at home :rotfl: But Ican pass on to pffice pal when I go (she passed me hers when she went on maternity leave) so everyone's a winner! :j
(sorry, boring bus ticket enthusiasmbut I'n trying to distract myself from face ache starting again!!)

Hi cheery daff
I absolutely LOVE your diary :j its the scrummiest diary I've ever read.
I'm only on page 4 and have just realised there are a 101 pages :T
I am filled with delight at all the cheery reading I still have left to do
Gonna read your old diaries too!
But I gotta go now coz I have so much to do and I'm running late coz I lost track of time
Wish I could just sit here with coffee and devour the whole diary in one go :drool:0 -
Crikey Miss Pickle, that's an awful lot of waffling to commit yourself to!! :rotfl: i am flattered of course that you enjoy my cheery ramblings
but please don't give up years of your life on my account!
:rotfl:
Serious sense of humour failure here. face hurts and I am NOT impressed. SO tired. Just want to be asleep, but I wouldn't sleep anyway in this pain. gah!!
Hope it passes soon. Just taken some more ibuprofen so fingers crossed... Might get a slightly earlier train, will get me home half an hour earlier at least...0 -
Oh Cheery. Sorry your face hurts. I can sympathise as my face is quite sore at the moment too. I will gladly send you ibuprofen as it made me sick when I took it. hope you catch an earlier train xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

oh dear, sore mouths all round today!!
Ouchy MIssPickle, that's a lot of teeth and sounds extremely sore! Hope you're ok. I didn't mean to imply you didn't have a life!I've spent many a happy hour wading through diaries and blogs in my time, losing myself in someone else's life for a while. An excellent way of spending your time
I'm honoured that you think mine is worth wading through! Do tell me if you find anything interesting along the way, it's nice to be reminded of stuff sometimes
I'll probably start a new one over Christmas as I'll have new financial goals once I start new job :j :j
Finally on the train home, and friend is coming round for tea so is picking me up at the station :j She's in for a boring night, I've been having a right sense of humour failure today and Mr Cheery is full of cold and feeling sorry for himself so we're not exactly a laugh a minute!!:rotfl:

Morning
got my cuppa tea and gonna climb into your diary now cheery
Awwww no, Mr Daff has a cold? Maybe you are all a bit run downbest to get it out the way before Xmas I suppose.
My top teeth were done in February and I love my new teeth :j they look like this nowwell they will after Xmas when the bottom ones go. That's what happens when you fall off horses
plus I apparently had great teeth but weak gums. My dentist is great with me, so that's good.
Hope you feel better soon.
The weather is shocking in Devon  glad I'm curled up indoors
The teens can fend for themselves this weekend. Got pork and veg already done for tonight and I've got nothing planned all weekend. Gonna have a lovely quiet snuggly one.
