I am not sure what option to go for Lucy but like everyone else has said, you won't pay interest onn the 0% one.....

Oh I am on a roll - I received my £110 from Quidco so decided to put £60 towards my savings (and I added £0.46p of my own money to round the figure up). So that is a total of £222 so far! :T Although I think I will be slowing down now as I am totally skinters for the rest of this month.

On ebay my goods are so far totalling £5.00 odd, with 3 more days to go on some of them I hope I get more!

How about the rest of you guys?? x

I've just been looking at the charges for my bills bank account, and realised that I'm paying 10.9% APR on my OD - to me for not realising before! So I have taken £500 out of my CC savings (only 5.5%) to pay off my overdraft....
My target stays the same tho, effectively I have one less debt as my OD is clear:T , and won't be used again:D , but I now have £500 less to go towards my CC:rolleyes:

Good job I got another 6p to put in my change jar! Made another £3 on Amazon today, and got some baby clothes and other things to sort out for eBay/car boot...
The target is  and the progress is slow :o - must now edit my sig

Morning well I decided to transfer the money for my phone bill over into my main account which means I've still paid money off my OD and I should if I am really careful be in credit at the end of the month!

My OH has just managed to reclaim some bank charges (He wont tell me how much) so we are going to celebrate tonight and go for a drink. I popped a couple of book onto Amazon last night so hopefully they will go. OH is busy with his Rugby team most of the weekend which will give me a chance to sort through things and sort out my Amazon/carboot stuff. I must say though... I think I'm really sad as I'm really looking forward to having a good sort out.

It'll be good though as I want to washing everything that's going to the car boot and get it ready to go so that the next nice weekend we have I'm ready to stick it all in the car and go.

But well done everyone, just been catching up with the posts and I think we are doing really well, just need to keep it up now.

    Happy Moneysaving x

Hi - I'd like to join. I need to pay off my Abbey Card by Xmas, think there is circa £600 on it to go. Now I have free line rental on my phone I can put the surplus £21 on it plus paying off my laptop leaves me £40 better off a month and my car is paid of in August leaving my an extra £50 better off per month so shouldn't be too difficult I hope!
    £4000 challenge

How fab is this thread! Even though i haven't been posting on it since signing up to it, my challenge is really in my mind and feel much more focused with it.:T

I've made an overpayment to my loan this month, and have decided to try and reduce my outgoings so that my weekly budget includes my work travel - then when I get my travel/parking expenses back am going to try and pay as much as poss of those onto the loan in a lump, if that makes sense! Seemed to work well this month, but have quite a lot planned over the summer with people coming to stay and going for a short holiday, so might not be as possible to reduce budget much at all.Anyway, it's worth a shot!

Have also decided that any quidco money will go straight to loan, and that is beginning to build up a wee bit now.

Have also set myself a mini-challenge of trying to list one thing on amazon this month and see how that goes. have never done ebay or amazon before, so a bit of a venture into the unknown for me.....

    Good luck everyone x
