Reporting in to say I had another no-spend day yesterday, but unfortunately have to go into town for work today so need to buy a travel ticket. Will get it back in expenses, but still feels annoying. Must make sure I don't detour via Pret for a coffee while I am in town!
Time to chase up emptypockets for a report as well I think! :huh:
Helon...did you do a detour?! Dont worry about travel expense as like you said you will get it back...
Well...I did well as I said I would spend £2 on meeting my friend at dinner. Actually I decided on a hot choc which was £1.50 but, as well as being a money saver and a fellow fat fighter I asked for no whipped cream and he knocked off 50p off the price so only spent £1! I dont want to spend the saved £1 so am going to hide it and hopefully bank it next week.
Going to be another no spend tomorrow as I have made a home-made soup (yep in July) for my dinner tomoz and I am going to the gym after work, and then home. Friday we are going to petsmart as we are getting a kitten so we need to buy cat litter tray etc. but its OH's kitten so he is paying ha ha - so hopefully I will complete the challenge! We will have to do another challenge for next week I think! xx£[strike]4,500 [/strike] 4,313.42 Loan (last payment Oct 2009!)

I Didn't Detour! Even though they were building a Pret on the route I walked! I did laugh seeing a builder sitting in the half built Pret, eating a Subway sandwich and coffee. :rotfl:
Well done on only spending £1 on your drink! £1 well spent anyway I'm sure as the time spent catching up with your friend is always a good thing.
Strangely enough, I made soup at the weekend and was eating it for lunch this week. Hope the kitten buying goes well. I'm sure you will love him/her to bits!
I'm on holiday next week from this Friday night, but I think I will be needing the challenge for the week after!
Good luck with today!

Afternoon.
Well I'm doing ok. Don't have any money to add to my running total. Although I was given £20 by a girl I work with for some old clothes I gave her. Which I wasn't expecting, so that was nice.
It does mean that I am going to end the month in credit :j which will be the first time in years.
So I'm really pleased with that.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Hi, I've got my act together now and paid off £300, checked quidco and they say they paid me yesterday so hopefully that will be another £100 to add next week. I'm getting quite excited now and feeling really positive but still haven't got round to sticking anything on ebay today despite it being 10p listing day... need butt kicking!Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Well done guys on the saving.
I haven't added anything to my total yet - I was going to add the money I made off Ebay but I worked out my money and I actually need it so I dont go over overdrawn, bit gutted about that.
Hope you have a brilliant holiday Helonearth!£[strike]4,500 [/strike] 4,313.42 Loan (last payment Oct 2009!)

Nothing much to report at the moment. The next couple of months are going to be tight as the summer holidays are coming. Even though this is going to be a DFW summer, with our holidays being visits to the family (we are lucky enough to have family in two 'holiday' destinations - Yorkshire and Devon) it is going to be more expensive because of things like petrol. I have also been saving any extra money ready for the Autumn when I have car insurance and house insurance to pay. Not sure if OH will be getting any overtime in the summer, but there is some in October. I think I am going to have to just hang on for a while and hope that things speed up in the autumn!
