Afternoon.
Well I now have £50 towards my challenge :T and I have just found out that I've been given a pay rise of just over £1000!!So once that has settled into my wages (it's dated from 1st july) I'll be able to pay even more off my debt :j So hopefully I'll make my challenge.
Good Luck with the NSD, I managed 3 over the weekend which is a record for me. I'm going to try for a few this week as things are a bit tight.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
I've also sold a couple of books on Amazon so that's helped add to the running total. Hopefully the car boot I'm doing at the weekend (if the weather's nice) will raise a bit more to!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0

Well done Lucy! I've spent the afternoon sorting out all the stuff for Thurs (10p listing day on eBay), just gotta load pics onto pc, and work out how to use Turbolister:eek:
Also just off phone with Elec company, and a cheque for my overpayment rebate should be with me within 10 days:D .... for the grand total of......
£451!!!:T :j  :j :T
I'm sure OH will stake his claim to some of it, as he pays half the bills, but even so, that's at least £225 towards my challenge:D

Well Done!! That's a nice chunk off the debt. I don't have access to ebay so it's just Amazon for me, but I seem to be doing ok there.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

I'm petty rubbish with Amazon, I get less than one sale per week... I think it's probably because I've got all the same stuff as everyone else:o Having said that, I don't always have much luck with eBay... Anything that doesn't sell this time is being carbooted!

Hello :santa2:
Room for a little one?!
I'm looking to pay off £615 by......... well as soon as possible ideally!
This is the horrid little loose ends to my credit cards, store cards etc.
Was recently given interest free loan from my mum (4.5k) but obviously underestimated what I owed :rotfl:
So as well as paying her back at £250 a month, I'll be paying £30 as the min repayments to the outstanding amounts, which means that between now and Christmas I need to find an extra 435....to clear the odds up...
I've started adding a few bits on ebay, unfortunately have no scope for overtime in my job, but I have got £34 sitting in Quidco, £15 in Paypal (after fees) and a £25 bonus cheque (must pay this in!)...
Have started taking out all my change under 20p regularly out of purse, and am on the Unnecessary Challenge to try and cut back more... Also got a terramundi with £2 coins in but am trying to avoid smashing that till its totally full! Which should be somewhere close to £600 (if I ever put any in!)
Also need to get account verified on Betfair so I can attempt to comprehend Matched Betting again, I had it until they froze my account!
 Just realised I'm really gonna have to pull my socks up!!!
Well done to everyone so far though, sounds like you're all doing fabulous things on this one :AWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi CAFC Girl, and welcome!
Reporting in to say I had another no-spend day yesterday, but unfortunately have to go into town for work today so need to buy a travel ticket. Will get it back in expenses, but still feels annoying. Must make sure I don't detour via Pret for a coffee while I am in town!
Time to chase up emptypockets for a report as well I think! :huh:0 -
Morning all and Welcome to all the new people.
Well I've just had another couple of sales on Amazon so that's another £6.80 towards the challenge. Still sorting things out for the car boot, but that is taking longer than I thought. I've just been given a nice payrise at work so that will be extra to the challenge when it comes through.
So feeling much better about it all today. I have some Amazon parcels to post, but hoping for a low spend day if possible.
Right off to update my sig.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Another £8.73 from Amazon hit my account today... straight into the savings u go! Takes me to £58.64.... approx 2%!!! Still a long long way to go
