At least you're heading in the right direction Sarah! I think mine might be difficult to achieve but if I ALMOST make it that'll be better than aiming for something I could easily achieve - hope that makes sense!
I think I need to read up on Amazon selling and add that to my ebaying, house could end up clutter free too!

    Morning Everyone

Sorry I've not been about, but I have been signed off work for 2 weeks and don't have the internet at home  So I am currently sat in my local library. I'm really pleased to see that everyone is doing so well.

Welcome to everyone new. I'll update the first post in a minute. I've not been doing much moneysaving I will admit, but as I'm ill I thought I'd let myself off for a week. Although back into it will force on Sunday. Still haven't managed to do a carboot, it's looking like a biblical storm outside. So I am just plodding on. Back to work a week on Monday so will be back to updating regularly then.

    Take care x

Hi Lucy, I wondered where u'd gone.... hope u get well soon x

Added another £298.07 to the challenge this morning, a combination of electric rebate and clearing out change jar so just the challenge money is in there.
Hoping to add more soon - I will get my @r$£ into gear this afternoon and get these eBay parcels wrapped! Then I can add my eBay profits to it.... spent £3.49 already tho! :o

Congrats Sarah, you`re streaking away from me - lol!
On a positive note I have finally typed out the second letter for reclaiming my bank charges tonight and have taken loads of piccies for eBay, shame I get really bored when listing them - oh well it must be done!

Def go for the bank charges - I had a great satisfaction when I got mine back! I feel a bot of a fraud, cuz £200 of it was from the elec company anyway... but it still money!
Know what u mean about eBay tho! I always leave it too long between 'sessions' and end up with loads of stuff that doesn't get listed.... I have a very small attention span when it comes to eBay listing.... I'm getting good at buying from it tho! Have u tried the Turbo Lister? It's supposed to be good, but I haven't got round to using it yet....:o

I finally got round to putting some stuff on ebay tonight - not much but it was the first time in ages so just getting back into the routine was quite good. Hopefully I'll find a few things each week to add to the total. nearly used amazon but couldn't decide if a cd was collectable or not!
Sarah you are doing amazingly well considering you've not long had a baby so don't beat yourself up. When my son was that age I probably spent way too much time and money buying him clothes that he immediately barfed on!

I've been v luck in that respect - my Mum and MIL buy loads of clothes for DS, plus I work with about 40 women, most of whom are mothers, so I've had loads of hand-me-downs :D . One thing I learned VERY quickly was not to say no to anything I was offered, even if some of it did end up on eBay or in the charity shop.
