Yes, Helen - I must spend half my life there these days! the kids clothes usually sell well and I used some of my recent profits to buy him some stuff which will probably go back on again when he's finished with them. I'm so green these days! or maybe just skint...
I'm planning a bootsale soon and hope to get rid of the ten million gadgets cluttering up my kitchen cupboards along with some toys but I'm trying to talk a friend into coming with me and none are too keen.
You are doing really well on the challenge - more than half way there and it's not even 3 months yet.Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I had already set myself the challenge several months back, and did look at it as getting the second half still to go, but I have had a lot of setbacks in the last few weeks and really didn't want to go to minus figures, so I changed my recording method! By the end of the month it will probably be nearer 700/1545, but that looks better than -50/795!
I wish I actually had stuff to ebay, but unfortunately I don't have any treasures/junk! My money all went on holidays, nights out and learning to drive, so I don't have anything material to show for it. I can't even sell old clothes I have grown out of as I have been the same size for about 10 years. My clothes wear out.
I used to not mind doing boot sales as a kid with my mum. Although I wouldn't recommend taking your son, as you will undoubtedly bring back more than you went with!0 -
Morning.
Right I am back at work and feeling a little better. Well I am at the moment anyway.
Although I am now going to have to pay for 2 weeks of not moneysaving... I took up knitting again to keep my mind busy, but there was money spent on needles and wool (although I have made 2 scarfs which are going to be christmas presents) so I need to be really careful until pay day on the 20th. I have my car booked in for a service on Wednesday so hopefully that wont cost to much.
But on a plus side I have paid some more off my debt and updated my sig. And I've dropped under the £9,500 mark :T so that is something to be pleased about.
I'm going to try and do a car boot at some point, hopefully this morning's beautiful sunshine will hold until the weekend!!
Really pleased to see that everyone is doing so well. Keep it up and hopefully we will all make it.

I'd like to join
I want my Virgin card paid off by christmas (hopefully) It was at £1550 in February. It is now at £900 so i think i might have a good chance of getting it cleared - fingers crossed!!!March 2006 £15,200+ in debt April £843.64 in debt - Debt Free date Sept 2009

Welcome!
I've just realised that this challenge is going to become more difficult. Unfortunately I went into my Lloyds OD at the end of last month and now my car service is going to cost me £191!!! but I have £130 saved so it's not to bad. Which means I am left having to paid another £180 off my lloyds account!!
So hopefully I will have paid off somewhere near my total... perhaps I should just aim for the amount and not 2 clear debts... hmmm will have to think.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0
