I think if you feel that bad about selling them, then give her half the money. Either way she has given them to you to do with as you please, so it's not wrong for you to sell them.0

Morning all.
Empty: I don't think it's wrong at all to sell the clothes she gave you. Either way i am sure as a friend she would be please you are benefiting from them.
But I am feeling in a better mood this morning, but that could be because the sun is shining at the moment :T . Although I have realised that I have SO much work to do that it might be a good idea is I take some time off the forums today. But we'll see how I manage. Perhaps I'll only check in every couple of hours or something.
Just having one of those moment where everything is getting on top of me and I need a day to just clear some of it. But I must be feeling better as I actually managed to do some house work last night  Boy does it need it!! Still have to sort some things out to car boot or Amazon. But I might have a look at that tonight.
I'm going to be really good and NOT touch my savings and I will try not to go into my OD and if I have to it will not be by much and so will not have much of an effect on next months wages.
But good luck everyone, I'm going to do some piggyclicks (well if I can get the website to work  )

My friend gave me a huge bag of clothes as she was clearing out and wanted them to go to a good home. She goes travelling for 1 year and decided to do a bit of a spring clean (she has about 4 wardrobes of clothes!).
Would it be bad of me to sell some of the stuff on ebay (bearing in mind a few items don't fit - but there are a few things that still have tags on...)
At the end of the day she has "given" them to me...what would you do?
I think that as she has given them to you, they are yours to do with what you feel best. If you want to sell some on ebay do it.0 -
Well so far I have £36.31 from clear profit in my paypal account and my change jar.
I have a cheque on its way for £30 something for trading old mobiles in and another item selling on ebay for £2

Morning.
Right just checked my bank account and I have about £30 to last be between now and the 20th... EEK!!! (and I have 2 weeks of petrol to pay for as welling as survival costs)
I was just wondering what you thought... I have £68 available to me on my interest free OD, is it worth transfering some over to my current account so I don't end up a little in credit and don't end up paying interest? I don't really want to do it.
Or should I just wait and see how OD I go and then transfer some in nearer to pay day? Or should I just leave it and pay if off out of next months money?
So many questions but some advice would be welcome. I know that I wont be going any more that about £50 OD at the very most, hopefully less if I can make it.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Really don't have much advice to give you. Just wanted to say you are not alone. I only have about £15 left in my account and knowing me I'll probably waste that on something I don't need. It's always the petrol that costs most though isn't it?
Good luck anyway, an if you have to go overdrawn I would say use the 0%Don't ever be anybody's slogan because you are poetry

That's what someone advised on my diary thread.
So I think that the plan of action is going to be this:
I'm going to be as good as I can be money wise to limit the damage and then I am going to transfer some money over on the 19th so I end up in credit and the try extra hard to pay the difference off my 0% OD. But it does mean that reaching my Xmas target could be a bit harder. Still I will give it a good go and anything is better than nothing. Isn't it?
Good Luck with your own OD... I hate them so much.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

Don't question if something is better than nothing. Of course it is! You are doing your best and that is so much more than you could be doing if you weren't trying.
However you look at it, every little thing you do to help yourself is good! Even using the 0% overdraft rather than incurring interest charges is technically money saving! :j0
