Hi hon
Nice to have you back although I wish it was for better reasons. Don't beat yourself up though. A slip's a slip and something to learn from so put it behind you and march on towards being debt free.
Bit of a surprise to have such short notice for the school trip but I hope he has a nice time. At least it's all paid so no stressing about the money for that. Have you got everything he needs? Littley has a 2 day trip in a few weeks and omg the amount of things she has to take - most to be bought
Take carexx

Hey all,
So I've quit my whining and I've booked overtime in every free space available in my diary. All shifts are days which aren't as much as a night but is still extra dough so I can't complain. I need to fix the mistakes I've made over the summer so it's got to be done.
Hi sassy, luckily it's only my son who went his so laid back nothing extra needed to be bought. If it was my girls it would have been a nightmare xx
I just had to change some pounds to euros for spending money xx
I'm off to bed overtime shift in the morning and I'm up at 5am xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hiya
That's a relief that you didn't need to spend too much. Littley's stuff she needs isn't cuz she's a girl, it's cuz she's going on a trip where they insist on the stuff.I've also had a letter home this week with instructions to make a costume for a trip she's got the week before. It's all take take take with schools isn't it! Daft thing is the costume trip is to a place I went to when I was her age. Wish I'd kept my costume now lol
Stop beating yourself up about the holiday. Your kids will remember you having a good time rather than the fact you spent a little to much money. Our day out on Sun resulted in Littley telling me "today's a 'no' day Mummy. No telling me I can't have something cuz it's too expensive, no telling me I can't have food cuz there's too much sugar/fat/grease etc, no telling me I can't...." the list went on and I realised that even though we need to do these things maybe we need to have "no" days every now and again so we can enjoy our kids when they're kids.
Saying that, good luck with the overtimexx

Morning all,
Looking at my overall figure before payday
My debt figure is £24,917.06. Which is made up of: Car =£15,309.66, CC = £900, WFTC = £2,387.40, Student Loan = £6,320.
I paid a chunk off the cc with my overtime pay today and my bank account is back to looking decent once again. Credit card is back out of my purse, £900 left to go then I need to replace the money I borrowed from Xmas account. Then I need to start to save for the New York passes. Even if I do one OT a week I will get there.
I've got a lot of housework to get done today and a few appts so I best make a move. Feel reenergised have a great day xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

£500 paid off cc today, £400 left to go now! Was hoping it will all be done by end of month but doesn't look like it's going to happen, at least it's well and truly dented now. I've booked ot for next week so can keep chipping away when I get paid from OT shifts xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68
