    Xmas Saver!
Were get a full refund, we're lucky we have alreDy been this ur, we went May for 2 weeks, the prob I have is in disabled with crutches so it's getting airport assistance, medical seating, plus suitability of places, bit of a military planned operation, think going for money back and go somewhere next year. We're off to blackpool for 5 days and up to Wales so Dd won't miss out on a break.

I had my 1st cAr accident 1998, the lad hit my car, (speeding and missed a bend so ended on my side of the roAd) from my car he had the side and back end, he then went into a layby and hit a parked van - write off - then (the best bit) mounted a pavement (row of 3 shops) his front end is in the middle shop window, his back end is in the end shop canals/ pole which snapped and that went throu the shop window .

We had 3 police cars, ambulance, air ambulance - his sister who was in the passenger seat - no seatbelt - had there 3 yr old sister on her lap- If it had been summer there would have been deaths, it was early oct so was quiet - the older sister had a broken arm - most serious injury.

Went to court - took 8 mths, he got fined £100 and £100 costs.... And 6 points...

Then 2000 I had a write off the lad behind me hit the gas pedal not the break and ended up in back end of my car, split the car 3/4 way through. The hospital that treated me just said its triggered the original injury, then when had DD in 2002, the physio who was helping with pre maternity classes - saw how I was walking, got me an appointment then via consultant - I was 6 mths gone when they told me my spine was knackered and that by having baby there was a strong chance would be wheelchair bound, I did end up in wheelchair for 6 mths but fought back to crutches, it's all fun and games. Xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Blimey M2O, you've been through the mill a bit haven't you!? It's sad to hear the lad only got points and small fine when you've now got a permanent injury from it all. Glad you've fought back to crutches though, shows great grit and determination so you must be very proud of yourself :) xx

Thank you, have good days, bad days, we muddle through, in a way its good for me as DD has never seen me without crutches and my weird way of doing things, she's been a star.

We now have plan 99... (hopefully work out in reality) is Gambia for next Easter, I'm lucky as DD likes to explore places and doesn't fancy Spain.... xx

Ok so it's been a year since my 3rd big LBM, my debt was over £31,000, as you can see from my signature the figure came down now it's gone back up. One because I was overpaid by WFTC and I now need to pay it back  and two interest was added to my student loan.

So my signature is updated so it's easy to see how much I owe once again. DD for car went out yesterday so early settlement figure has been updated too.

Got paid for OT so £300 over to car account. I'm sorting car first as this has the highest interest over everything that's left to pay. So total in the car account is a tidy £1,000 my plan was to have £3150 by July 31st  we will see I never say never.

    Have a good day xx

  • Morning!

Ooh, I think with all the will in the world a further £2150 in two weeks is a big ask to save but I'm sending you the biggest bunch of good luck vibes to see how close you get to it! :) xx

    Lottery win comes to mind..

I was hoping not to do much overtime during the six week holidays so I can see the kids more but updating my signature and with the total rising, not reducing I've got no choice but to continue to do the OT at the moment.

I really need to get back to Padding I feel I'm concentrating on too many things at once. So I'm going to let the standing orders do their jobs and slowly get the figures down on the WFTC and student loan and just put all my focus on the car settlement figure. It's my biggest outgoing DD at the moment.

PAD of £5 to the car account today.

    Have a great weekend xx

Well developments here aren't the best OH and me still the same although apparently I forced him into booking the holiday next year, he had planned to buy his car before I booked the holiday but he didn't tell me because it was a surprise that he was buying himself the car and he had tried to hint for me to book it for a later date.....I had asked him again and again if his sure he could afford NYC and he definetly wanted to go. He said he agreed so I wouldn't start sulking???? I'm so confused I'm doubting my own mind. Even though I'm in debt, I can always afford my monthly payments, I never agree to anything unless I look at the figures (obviously since joining here I now understand the benefits of saving and buying). But I had searched for the cheapest deals I had calculated how much we would need to put in each and made sure he was comfortable with the amount. I'm even paying a £1000 more because I'm buying the travel passes.

So I did suggest a little holiday in August just a cheap camping one I've told him to forget it that then. It's too late to cancel New York as the flights, transfers and parking are all paid for its just the hotel left.
I just feel the holiday is now tainted I'm so upset. He said he will catch the account up when he can he just needs a few weeks, I'm just debating wether to find out how much I will lose cancelling the holiday.

I'm back to work tonight have a great evening everybody xx

Hi all, I've just checked my wage slip for Friday the student loan is finally coming out of my wages. Another website I can now check into and obsess over the figure going down. You've been warned lol.
Having a realistic view on my debt busting this month won't be as high as I want with DS birthday this week, a trip to d manor theme park and the school uniform shop it's going to be a bit much to expect a big payment over to the car account. I'm also going to Spain in two weeks for a wedding and I've got a wedding when I get back! Phew!

Got some OT shifts that will help me with the above.
