It's good to hear that OH has given you some money towards NYC especially in a month when your costs are going elsewhere. I bet you can't wait for your break in Spain. You'll have an ace time I'm sure. xx

Signature update: wages paid and £284 was taken for student loan.

I'm slowly but surely getting uniform sorted not a lot left to get, got dresses for the weddings this month both in the sale. DS bday went really well yesterday he loved it and d manor was fun too.

I'm doing OT this weekend some will go towards spending money for Spain and I need to find something for the family to do during our week,off at the end of August.

Feeling quite proud getting school uniform, and paid for sons birthday without a credit card. Not much debt tackled but at least I haven't added to it. Feels good :-)

So to,or row I get £800 OT I desperately need to buy my kids new mattresses their beds are awful just the mattress needs replacing don't know where to start looking the prices range so much was looking at argus they have a sale on at the moment £129 for a mattress which is half price what we thinking yeh or ney?? Single bed??

Hi all,

I'm back but not with my head high, once again a slight slip or epic fall from the debt saving bandwagon.

So I was doing well until I got back from my break in Spain I started having days out with the kids, I did no OT because I wanted to enjoy time with the family but that meant no spare cash and everything went on my cc. I had to pay for everything with no contribution from the other half at all. We could have stayed in but I didn't want to waste my two weeks off so the family days out we're all put on the CC. Total owing £1,304.94. This figure also includes an anniversary break to the big city and theatre tickets. I was hoping OH would give me dough towards it all when he got paid but no I got a card for our anniversary when will I learn.

Anyway not one to moan :rotfl: I need a plan so that's why I'm back on here. Its my own doing spending on the cc and not my OHs so I need to snap out of it.
My debt figure is £25,674.67. Which is made up of: Car =£15,662.33, CC = £1,304.94, WFTC = £2,387.40, Student Loan = £6,320.

I currently have s/o going to student loans as well as pay reductions, I have an standing order for WFTC and the car is paid for monthly by DD. So my first step is to get money back into my current account as its on the bare minimum I had to move money from my Xmas savings into there to ensure all my DDs can go out. (I know huge step back)

I have booked an OT shift for this week although the area I've booked it in have a high cancellation rate so until I do the shift I can't count it.
I would love to continue on my debt free by Xmas plan but not going to happen. So my plan by end of September is to have my cc paid off, and have returned the money I borrowed from the Xmas account. A plan a month wins the race I think.

So that's it I'm back.

After posting this my DS has come home his got a trip to France leaving Sunday!!!!! we knew it was coming up its all paid for but had recieved no confirmation from the school. Apparently there was a mix up in letters sent during the summer!!!!!! Great there are just no words.
