Well the oil finally arrived two weeks after it was originally due and I had to talk the driver in even tough they'd had detailed directions already, so today in January I have received from them the snotty letter saying my account is overdue for payment. However my bank statement shows that I paid when I ordered back in October so this lot are not only useless at delivering but also with their accounts!
I won't be using them (HeatingOil.co.uk also known as CERTAS or CPL) again even if they are the cheapest.0 -
Hi, does anyone know if you can buy a couple of 20 Litre drums of heating oil near south Devon, Exeter area? My 95 year old grandmother has run out today, and bit of an emergency, as no other heating0

Not for me it doesn't. I recently needed to place an order and of all the 'usual suspects' (Fuel Tool, Oil Club. Boiler Juice and local suppliers) a local supplier beat everyone. Even if he hadn't, The Oil Club still wasn't the cheapest, which reinforces the point that it's very variable and you need to get as many quotes as possible before you buy.0 -

I have found HomeFuelsDirect.com to be quite competitive, and usually cheaper than Boilerjuice.0

Hi all
I live in a Solid fuel council home which is heated by coal. Oil is so much cleaner and cheaper. Is there any regulations where I challenge the council into changing my heating system? I paid a lot for Coal and logs over the winter my daughter has larger house and pays less for Oil. If anyone can help me I would appreciate some advice on this???0 -

I was searching for a good price for my oil delivery as the syndicate that I am with are getting more and more expensive and I came across a comparison site for heating oil delivery- never knew they had them... anyway. what it boils down to is that I saved money - more money for  I was quoted 34.80 + VAT per litre but got it for 33.20 + VAT
I also found this thread and wanted to let people out there know about it also. I called the company up and they have been in the oil business for a long time but they have expanded ( I did not want to hand my money over to anyone new who would take it and do a runner)
the site is heatingoilcompare co uk only in the south-west but the guy said they are expanding quickly. Good luck to them I say.0
