My grown up daughter says if she had my bed she would give up work & go on the dole!0 -
I'm rubbish at getting up too. I'm neither an early bird or a night owl, more middle of the day. Depending on my work pattern I have 3-4 days a week where the alarm goes off at 5:15am and I generally hit snooze twice - I just can't get straight out of bed even in the summer. I usually have to be in bed by 9pm the night before although I might read for a bit, probably asleep by 10pm at the latest. If i'm on a late shift I get to bed by midnight (half hour drive home, see to the cat and get myself ready for bed). I know there's some thought that I should still be setting my alarm for 5:15 but it would leave me exhausted.0

Vitamin B might help OP. Doesnt provide massive amounts of energy but it does give a little boost that helps you feel more perky/energetic in general.
I'm probably not the best person to advise on sleeping patterns since I suffer from insomnia. My problem is usually falling asleep/staying asleep! Although I did find that cutting my sleep to 6 hours or below a night helps a lot with that.
I'm not sure how it works either, but it seems to. It plots the deep sleep, and then the 'waking' asleep, by, I assume your movements in bed? If you need 9 hours sleep, I would assume you need to be in bed for something more than 9.30 hours, or else it's not going to happen! I think by waking you 'early' it stops you going back into a deeper sleep so that you wake fresher? I've asked my son what it's called..... Cue tumbleweed (he's not the best at replying)

I've downloaded one app called sleep time it's an orange clock for the icon.

I used that app last night and have been awake since 5:47. I don't feel as bad as I normally do, though will say I didn't jump out of bed! But it's definitely a start!

What time is your usual alarm? Hope it works for you.Bern :j0 -
My usual alarm is between 6-6:30. I didn't use the app last night and woke up feeling tired! There's definitely something in it!
