Struggle to drag my butt out of bed in the morning!

I'd use a combination of the app, plus the standard alarms set for when you absolutely must be up and getting ready.
I set three alarms on my phone and only ever hit sleep when they go off; the last one only gets turned off as I'm walking out the front door in the morning, as I'm still going so slow, I'd still be late without the constant assorted beeps, buzzes and loud punk rock intro.
I'm a night owl, always have been, as are a lot of people in my department; we all do pretty much the same because we know we're fighting our basic nature - the sustained assault on our natural instincts is the only thing that works.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Amazing news!
I might suggest DH down loads it too, anything that helps.
Op, do you sleep alone or share a bed, I wonder how easily disrupted it is by someone else's sleep patterns, presumably some one is still woken at the wrong time if you are sharing!0 -

DH had always been a night owl, his siblings are too. But I with really good 'sleep training' he really has turned it around. He still doesn't love pre 6 am starts, don't get me wrong, but he now resents later than nine am ones, and we have compromised on about 6. 25 for our alarm time this year.
Likewise, I am getting up later. When I struggle its impacted by health problems. (I am a early rising, few hours of sleep person by nature and have to 'work hard' to unwind for seven to eight hours of sleep) But it really can improve with some adherence to routine.
I've been sloppy lately, (always seems harder for me at this time of year and high summer!) so I'm going to use this thread as a reminded of how important good sleep is to a good day!0 -
I have 4 alarms! I have 1 at 6am, this lets me know time is nearly up and that I must appreciate the next few minutes! Second is at 6:15 this is when I get up. 7:30 is when I need to leave the hose by. Last alarm is 3pm when I have to set off to school for DD!

Do you want the breakdown? It's quite ridiculous!0 -
By having so many aren't you training your 'Pavlovian response' to the alarm to NOT be to immediately get up and be fresh?
Its for that reason I won't use the snooze button, it makes everything worse. The alarm sound has to mean one thing so that you do it automatically......0 -
