Seriously OP, as other people have said, the Tesco van is not going to be there long enough to be a problem. Just lighten up!
If you stand at the window constantly to see if there's anything parked there, you're just going to stress yourself out even more.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670 -
I'm sure the kid is going to have a great childhood, growing up with a moaner about every little thing that's slightly inconvenient.
Oh no, the neighbour's car is 1" over our driveway! HOW DARE THEY! *rings Police*
Seriously, get a grip. If you can't cope with a van being over your drive for 2 minutes (and being able to ask him to move) you're not going to be able to deal with parenthood.0 -

all i can say OP is be glad your not in front of a school. the amount of times i am blocked in is ridiculous. i have missed appointments (i too was high risk) but to make sure i would be ok i started parking in front of my drive. even now with double yellow lines outside parents still park accross it to get their kids when its raining ( i literally live opp the school gates). i would be grateful to have the odd driver stop rather than on a daily basis
sometimes i have the audacity to drop my older son at his school (not blocking anyone) when its raining then come back to take my younger son to school opposite and oh look i cant get on my drive.
lifes to short to be a victor meldrew (90s comedy to those younguns) enjoy your pregnancy and motherhood, you will have more to worry about when you feel other kids arent doing right by your child. Thats when school ground politics and arguments start- I came, I saw, I conquered :j

As said in post #25 They are allowed to block the road for 20 minutes, thats what they told me anyway.
We had a Tesco delivery earlier this week at 9pm and their van blocked one of our neighbours from driving past our house to his house. The Tesco driver told me they are allowed to block for 20 mins. She was at our house for no longer than 5.Slimming World Member - Started 05/02/150
