I can't be bothered reading the entire 5 pages of this thread, but seriously OP, you are going over the top! I was wondering when you had a food order delivered recently via City Link (another thread) did you panic about the driver parking in front of your drive...

    Just wondering!

This OP would probably object to a fire engine outside her drive if next door was on fire!

    noob settings ;)

I've been here for a long time and still have 20 posts per page because I like it.

Oh, !!!!!!, how long does it take to make a delivery?? Seriously people??

    5 minutes.

Response time for an ambulance on a top priority call is 8 minutes.

So mathematically that makes a none issue. ;)
Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?

Late to the party but have enjoyed reading the thread.

So 5 days before the OP's post she posted a praise message about Laura Ashley https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4864773
They delivered a sofa and unpacked it ON THE DRIVE and yet this was acceptable to her - what if she had needed to get off the drive?

Perhaps it was more about the van being a Tesco van and not a Laura Ashley van. No whatever did happen to Mrs Bucket

laura Ashley's driver got of lightly with being 5 mins late,
you can just imagine the cones protecting the delivery area out before the german towels on sunbeds on a sunny day.:rotfl:

it looks like her chair thread wasn't well received.

but they did sound very polite, (pre-warned perhaps)
