Vent: Tesco Van Parking Over Driveway

I have the same problem, every week they deliver to the creep next door. He moves his cars OFF his driveway into the street so that when Tescos come they block my driveway.
I take photos and evidence the issues I've having and I've made numerous complaints to Tesco via Twitter and on phone to their relevant branches but they don't give a stuff. I'm sure they would if I parked over they're depot entrance every week.
My main annoyance is that the creep next door is deliberately doing it to harass me (theres always a car at the address blocking me in) and Tescos are helping him do it knowing of the situation.
This thread is resurrected from nearly 2 years ago!
How did you even FIND this thread?
So, a van is blocking your drive for 10 minutes a week! Is it really that big of a deal? The driver would be in the house to ask him to move if you needed to. Why on EARTH is this such a massive issue?! No wonder Tesco are so flippant about it; it's a non-issue!
I think people have far too much time on their hands, or have nothing serious in their life to worry about, if they are going hysterical about a van parked in front of their house for 10 minutes a week. Good grief!
What's more, if the neighbour is moving his van off his driveway and onto the road (as you claim,) then why not just move yours?
I think people have a right to moan and vent on here, as that is what this board is for, but this is a ridiculous vent.Arlandria606 wrote: »Wow. What an unsympathetic, judgmental bunch you are. Making excuses, accusing me of hysteria(!), clearly not reading the entire post, all because I'm annoyed at a company breaking the law when there was no real reason to and in the process causing a potentially serious problem for me.
Just the thought of having to go through all that again is unbearable without the added complication of having to explain it to a stranger while it's happening, and yet apparently asking Tesco to behave within the law and give a decent response to a customer complaint is unreasonable of me.
I sincerely hope that, if any of you ever need an ambulance, there's a huge fleet of Tesco vans illegally parked and blocking them from getting to you.
Charming!
I notice the OP never came back to the thread after this.cooeeeeeeeee :j :wave:0 -
So when Tesco's turn up to deliver the only place is temporarily over your driveway and it's them that are aiding in harassing you?
What you should do is the following..
a) You obviously know when the delivery is coming as he moves his car/van/boat/trailer full of dead bodies.
b) Go and lie in the driveway bit before the Tesco's van arrives
c) When the van arrives stand up and point in the following fashion at your neighbour
