I know its ridiculous.Round here someone said the postman pushed a you wernt in card through the door without knocking first with a recorded delivery,as if they would do that, sheesh.Another neighbour said that the postman leaves elastic bands what hold the letters he's carrying in their garden and along pathways in the street.I told them straight, they would never do such a thing. And they always shut the gate after they've left, never a problem their at all.:D

Looks like we have the same postie :D

On the positive side - i havent had to buy elastic bands for ages.
  • I agree with the OP. I for one will never use Tesco again!

The op may be genuinely distressed by what has happened and if so, the replies here may not be what she wanted to hear but surely should give her a bit of perspective on reality!

If she is a troll, then many thanks to her .
This thread has had me laughing out loud and I needed a bit of cheering up :)

My youngest must have followed the postman on his way to school, he always had some of those red elastic bands in his pockets.

I feel sorry for delivery men, they are just doing their job and have a set time to do it. It's not their fault if there is nowhere to park or they mis-judge which house they are going to and park outside the wrong one.

Wow, just wow. I came to this thread as people were going on about it elsewhere and have just read the first couple of pages. Yes, OP is quite likely 'hormonal' - have a bit of compassion and humanity regarding her situation and view fgs - she's only human and hasn't murdered anyone!
I completely agree that Tesco's 'apology' was half-@rSed too - especially the bit where they said they 'always' try not to inconvenience people (so complainant is obviously lying then). :rotfl:

Yes we all have been....towards the Tesco driver who has been subject to a complete over reaction & internet ridicule by the op!

they always try not to, thus its not always possible, ;)

its not known if complainant was lying, but op was seriously miffed at possibility of almost being inconvenienced. :)
