We went to Venice in March last year and paid around £500 for flight and hotel for 3 nights. So Id do something like that!
But Person One has a good point. If £500 is literally your entire savings, I wouldnt be spending any of it.0 -

I honestly thought it would just be a nice thread, what you would do with £500, I did say I didn't want material things more memory things. I do appreciate that to some £500 isn't a lot of money and on the other hand £500 is so much to some.
Bruges is a lovely idea so is Prague if we went before April then we could probably do it for £500 ish.
There is some lovely ideas on here that I might not of thought of so thank you everyone for replying.

Give it me if you like....
If this is your only savings, I wouldnt spend it. I'd put it into a savings account - you never know!0 -

Indeed. Most people are still decent on public websites though. I've just seen some of your other posts which make it quite clear that you are a troll. I'll click the ignore button and be done with itCommon sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

If it was me, at the moment, I'd be sticking any spare money straight in my savings account which is dwindling alarmingly low!
No I also have savings too, I think that life is far to short (recently lost many close relatives) to be saving every penny we have. I want to look back on my life and remember all the good times we had not a lot of what if's

Well, its a balance, isn't it? Its no good living like a miser and dying in a freezing hovel with half a million quid under the mattress.
Equally, its no good spending every penny on having a good time and 'living for today' and then finding that you're screwed when your boiler packs in!0 -
I would save a little more and use it for a short, long haul break - e.g. a
long weekend in New York or Vegas.0 -
Have you considered a "Dutch dash" from Hull on the Ferry?0
