Thanks INOD and ani. It's a promotion within the same service, just a temporary promotion for 6 months to cover but it would be great experience if I got it. I've got a weeks holiday starting from Saturday (other than a few shifts that I picked up with 2nd job) so plenty of time to prepare and do the assignment.

Today has been a NSD :). The cook at work gave me some curry to take home for tea so had that instead of the planned baked tatties. Makes our food budget stretch a little further :D

Yesterday was a NSD and I made all my payments. Just over £50 to go to pay off cc2 :D. Today I spent £32.88 in Aldee plus £3 on some flowers to take to my friends. Slightly over budget but since I'm off on holiday and in for tea every night, I should have probably budgeted more.

Been to the gym this morning and then went for a girlie lunch at one of my friends. Spent a lovely afternoon there and now just waiting for tea to cook while watching a DVD.

I've got an interview at the end of next week for a senior support worker role within the same organisation. If I get the job, it means full time hours and a pay rise :D

Wishing you the very best of luck with the interview, I have my fingers crossed for you
    - which makes typing a tad difficult!

    Thanks Boodedoo and dawnybabes :)

Just walking home after a long shift for 2nd job. Very tired but it will be worth it on Friday. It's been a NSD, hoping for quite a few this week as I don't have much planned.

  • Make sure you give yourself enough interview prep time. That's so much more important than an extra shift.

I will INOD :) I'm off for the next couple of days with no plans so will be doing lots of interview prep then. I did quite a bit of planning for the assignment last week at work as well.

Today has been a NSD :) not much else to report, had a lovely tea tonight - roast beef, tatties, veg and gf yorkies. Plenty leftovers for tomorrow and to put into freezer.

Been to an very evil kettlebells class this evening, I've actually got the start of a blister in my hand from it :( I think I will be sore tomorrow. Today has been a NSD as I've not left the house other than to go to the gym.

Assignment has now been done, just need to type it up and print it out at the library tomorrow. Done a little prep work on the sort of questions I think I'll get asked so will do more tomorrow and then interview is Thursday afternoon.

Postie arrived this morning with my monthly payslip and a save the date card for my sister's wedding :D The accommodation needs a £25 deposit so I will need to budget for that.

    - £1200 for bills and direct debits
    - £25 accommodation deposit
    - £25 electricity bill

Just away to get myself organised and over to the library to type up and print out the assignment.
