Yeah I'm hoping that it helps me budget better especially for social spends as that's an area that I always go over budget on. Worth a go anyway
Yesterday I went to Liddle after work and spent £27.21 so £2.79 left in food envelope for this week. I might be going to the cinema later with a friend but it depends on how she feels, she's just undergone surgery and is still recovering.
Forgot to say bank reward went in on Friday but I've put it into the presents account rather than paying it to the debt - my sister turns 30 later this month so need to get some money together for her present. I'm going to contact the credit union on Monday to get some of my christmas savings out so I can start the shopping.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

A NSD today - my friend didn't feel up to going to the cinema so I spent the evening round at hers watching a DVD.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

A NSD yesterday and today. Not much else to report. I transferred £70 from my christmas savings so am planning to go shopping tomorrow.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Made a start on my christmas shopping plus I got my sister's birthday present. I made her a turning 30 survival kit which cost less than £15 to do and then I'll put some money towards a big present from all the family. I got OH's christmas present and some bits for his stocking and got my dad a wee gift. Still got a lot to get but glad I made a start.
I spent the rest of the food money on milk and gf bread flouro so there's now 4p left in the envelope. I desperately need coffee but will get tomorrow once I top up the food envelope. The £30 social envelope is still intact but I'm meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow and have got family up over the weekend so don't imagine there will be much left after that.
Got my payslip today so will need to get the budget sortedMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

:rotfl: I can imagine! I made it into two parts - mascara, nail polish, a wee perfume and miniature gins for a night out and bubble bath, face mask, candle and cosy socks for a relaxing night in plus a giant 30 badge, retro sweets, tissues and chocolate. Had a box at home that fit everything and covered it with 30 wrapping paper.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

I love the sound of that survival kit misstara, brilliant idea.
I'm also well impressed with your Christmas preparations. :xmastree: I might try and get started with all that myself next week.
Happy money saving. If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -

Family have been up this weekend which has been lovely. Managed a NSD yesterday and Friday. I've been to the supermarket today and spent £24.12 - got a good YS haul including a wee roast for tea tonight, gf bread, rolls and muffins plus normal bread and rolls for OH. I'm making some soup to go with the rolls for lunches during the week.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
