Hey there, I just wanted to drop by and say I've very much enjoyed reading through your diary, you've done so well and I love your style of keeping track of every penny and making constant overpayments when you can. I've just started my own diary here and you (alongside a good few others) are an inspiration in terms of the way I think I'll be going about it all.

Also, Scotland won the rugby, so all is good for you. Best of luck against the Springboks!

Thanks for your post craididlyaig :) I find that budgeting every penny works well for me and posting all my spends has certainly stopped most of the little unnecessary spends as I know I have to confess them here. Good luck with your own diary, I'll have a wee look for it. Yeah the rugby turned out well in the end, probably won't be so happy after the next game though.

Spent £29.01 in the supermarket yesterday so all stocked up for the week. Been to the gym this morning but that's pretty much all I've done, woke up really early and snuggled up in a blanket on the sofa to watch a DVD. Today will be a NSD. Plan is to have a coffee and browse MSE until its time to go to work. Really cba going to work but at least it's double time because of the public holiday :D

Next target is to get under £3500 by the end of the year, just over £1000 in 3 months should be doable :D

Today has been a NSD. Went for a visit to my new work and met some people, looking forward to starting now. Got my payslip for 2nd job so need to work on a budget.

Been to the gym again today and its been another NSD. Payments made to the loan and emergency fund. I'm going to try out an envelope system this month for budgeting so have taken out money for the week and put it into envelopes.
