Went for a 5k run yesterday with friends and managed to run the whole thing so really pleased with that, planning to do another run during the week and then hopefully will be ok for the run on Sunday.

Had a spendy day yesterday - £2.75 on a card for my gran's birthday and £30 on some bits for a present for my sister's wedding. Today has been a NSD :)

So glad to be home, work today was rubbish, stressing out about how much I need to get done before the end of the week and then I'm off for 10 days. Just going to relax this evening and get an early night.

Thanks monz, I'm very much looking forward to the time off :)

A NSD yesterday and hopefully today. Payslip is through for main job so in the process of doing a budget, I didn't do much overtime last month so it's less than usual.

    :rotfl: here you go monz

£1433.71 from monthly and weekly pay
    - £1250 DDs and food
    - £43.71 debt payments
    - £10 toiletries
    - £30 presents
    - £100 social (have 3 social things to do this weekend as well as my run so have budgeted high, anything left over will go into the wedding fund).

Yesterday I did a late shift for 2nd job so that will be £40ish next Friday. Spends yesterday were £3 on coffee (much needed, I don't function without coffee) and £1.20 for juice on the way home from work.

Spent some time yesterday reading through my diary from the start - I've been feeling quite overwhelmed recently - I think just with my job being stressful, having no energy (although do feel a wee bit better so the tablets must be starting to kick in), May being a rubbish money month (seemed to be spend, spend, spend, didn't manage to save anything) and being the only wage earner (OH hasn't worked for a few months and the way his physical/mental health is at the moment I don't think he'll be back at work anytime soon). Sometimes it just gets a bit on top of me so thought I would read back to see how far I've come since my first post.

Definitely feel better, more motivated and inspired which is something that I feel has been lacking recently. After today, I'm off work for 10 days so going to use that time to get organised, start meal planning properly again, sit down with OH and discuss our finances (haven't really done this since he's not been working), etc.

Anyway I think that's enough waffle, I'm almost at work so will finish up by saying with the debt payments this morning, my debt is now £1485.42 and 85.8% paid :T

Hi misstara, I've not posted in such a long time, but I still come on to catch up on your progress, and considering you are the only earner in the household, you are doing a fantastic job of not only keeping up with the bills, but also paying your debt too, you should be so proud of yourself. :) Glad you're feeling a bit better now your medication has kicked in, hopefully a few days of rest will also help.

Thanks AleMrsT, good to see you back. Noticed you've posted on your diary so will check out what you've been up to tomorrow.

Just back from a girls night out - £46 spent plus gave my friend £17 for my share of a present. So that's one social event down, two to go. Better head to bed - it's well past my bedtime :rotfl:

Up early this morning so have completed all the surveys in my inbox, so boring but worth it when I get vouchers towards Christmas. I'm planning to head to the supermarket shortly so will make up a meal plan and list before I go (AND stick to the list when I'm there ;)). I'm also going to drop off 2 bags of stuff to the charity shop, they've been sitting in the flat for a couple of weeks.

I've got an afternoon tea to attend today and then drinks out with friends this evening, hopefully won't spend too much. I will only be having a couple of drinks as I've got the run tomorrow morning so need to be fresh for that.

Hopefully will have a bit of money to put into the wedding fund, I've currently got the accommodation costs saved and have bought our travel tickets to Glasgow but will need around £50 more for the rest of the travel costs plus a wee bit of spending money. The wedding is a week today, has come round so quickly. Must try on my dress again, make sure I can still fit into it :rotfl:

Decided against going to the supermarket yesterday so that is a job for later on today. Spent £6.50 on some toiletries and combined spends for yesterday's social things was £30 so have a bit of money to go into the wedding fund.

A bit of the decoration on the sandals I was planning to wear to the wedding has come loose so will attempt to glue it back on. I also need to try on the strappless bras I own to see if one of them will do, really don't want to buy another one but fear that they will be too big. And then I think that's it for wedding preparations, hopefully.

Currently on my way to my friends house to meet up before the run. Oh that reminds me - I also spent £2.49 yesterday on a new water bottle for running. Back later :)
