Hey misstara, just wanted to post and say that I have been reading your diary and have been so impressed with your dedication and your generosity while paying off your debt!
You are always buying little presents for family / friends / friends' children and it's so lovely to see that even when you have debts to pay you always give to others. Has inspired me to do the same! :j
Best of luck with the debt-busting - will keep following!0 -

Aw, thanks for your lovely post sunnyoutlook
So yesterday was a NSD other than 65p on throat lozenges. Feeling worse today, just absolutely full of the cold. Feeling very sorry for myself and totally lacking in motivation to anything other than lie on the sofa.
I was at training today and went for lunch with my colleagues (instead of going home), however, it was to the local Wetherspoons so £4.90 spent. I then went to buy some fruit and some gf brownies managed to find their way into the basket so £4.65 spent there.
I've managed to rejig the budget to cover all the direct debits for the month (but had to borrow from the emergency fund) but things are very tight for the rest of the month, don't want to have to dip into the emergency fund again. Really need to rein in the unneeded spends.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.980 -
Not much to report, a NSD yesterday and £7.16 spent at supermarket this evening. Still feeling absolutely rubbish, cold hasn't shifted at all.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Thanks INOD and ABA
I phoned the bank and the reason they took more than the balance was because I had made additional payments after the final settlement letter so the money has been refunded
