Payday today :j it's been a long month, feel like I've been waiting ages to be paid.

    So the budget...£1605.26
    - £1400 to DDs account
    - £100 for the weekend (we're away to a wedding)
    - £50 me
    - £35.26 debt
    - £20 electricity bill

Obviously I haven't been able to put much to the debt and as of Friday the emergency fund will be wiped out paying for the deposit, however, will be worth it in the long run.

My next target for the debt is £800 by the end of July. Even as I type it, I can't quite believe it.
    Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500  1.8.25 - £106,362.86
    Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.98

:rotfl: hope you have a fab holiday x

Both sets of rent and the deposit have been paid today so my bank account is looking a bit sad. I got paid from 2nd job, £31.95 so £1.95 to the debt and £30 for a girls night out I've got planned for next week.

    Thanks monz :D

£5 bank reward was paid this morning so that has gone straight towards the debt.

Had a great time at the wedding and stayed within budget - came back with just over £10 which I then used to buy a new bin for the kitchen.

Yep all is ok, just incredibly busy and struggling to find time to post. Also don't have broadband in the new flat but it should be up and running on Friday.

Will hopefully manage a proper update later.

Should probably go to bed but will do a quick update as it's been a while. Really need to get back into the habit of posting everyday.

Between work being short staffed, trying to move flats and clean old flat, OH being constantly negative about everything (not in a good place mental health wise at the moment) and doing work for the new course I've started, I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed and struggling to find time to do anything other than work and clean.

Although I did have my girls night out on Friday which was fab, stuck to my budget for the night but then spent a fortune on hangover food on Saturday :o. Have managed a few NSDs so up to 5 for the month so far.

Spent £38ish on food on Wednesday, freezer is full so hopefully just a wee top up shop this week. Made an £11.03 payment to the debt today.

Think that's all I have to report, will try to post more regularly.
