Congrats on another debt paid x
Thanks Abz
Nothing much exciting to report today, a NSD. I have a day off tomorrow so planning to do an inventory of the cupboard, fridge and freezer then do a meal plan. Currently have just over £12 in the bank, due around £30 on Friday and probably another £30 next Friday but that will be it money wise until the end of the month.
I think I said a while back that we were hopefully going to be moving into a cheaper flat, got official confirmation yesterday so that will be happening at the start of next month. Unfortunately there will be an overlap of one month so will have to pay both rents in July. Still need to do my sums but the emergency fund should cover the deposit and my brother has agreed to give me a loan of money should I need it. Such a pain but will be worth it in the long run as the rent is over £200 a month cheaper. Will sit down with OH and work out everything over the next week or so.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.980 -
Got all we needed from the supermarket for £9.90 so pleased with that. On a late shift tomorrow so hopefully will manage to go to the gym before work. Haven't been at all this month with being away at the start of the month and then having a stupid coldMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Didn't manage the gym this morning, woke up not feeling great again - maybe tomorrow. Spent £1.50 on a Father's day card, owe my brother £10 for my share of the present so will pay that tomorrow. Also had to buy milk as forgot to get yesterday so £1 spend there.
Payslip through so will get £30.28 - £10 to my brother and the rest for food.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Whey hey!<said she, de-lurking> Congratulations on the new flat. That much less rent is going to make a huge difference once you get over the two payments in one month - and you will, quite quickly.
and look at you, your debt is almost 90% paid :-) That debt's days are seriously numbered.
I am so very pleased for you !0 -

Thanks Boodedooreally beginning to see the end of the debt now.
Spends today - £10 for father's day gift, £3.59 on some medication for OH as he is now full of the cold and £1 on chocolate for me.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Was volunteering at a fundraising event through my work yesterday so inevitably ended up spending money on tombola tickets and homebakes - £4 spent. Today I'll need to do a wee shop - need teabags and butter, will have a look and see if we need anything else.
Did a bit of a clear out of books yesterday, no point in moving books that I won't read again so have a bag full to go to the charity shop.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Thanks sunnyoutlook. It will be good once we move, however, at the moment am slowly losing the will to live with packing.
Wow didn't realise that I hadn't posted for 4 days. Between work and packing I haven't really had a spare moment.
A day off today. Met my bro and SIL for coffee this morning, bro kindly paid for mine. Then more clearing out/packing and took some bags to the charity shop. Went to a friend's for tea which was lovely.
Will get £23.96 tomorrow from 2nd job so that will be for food. Once I've bought food and the last 2 direct debits have gone out, I'm hoping there will be a couple of pounds left over to go towards the debt.
Monthly payday on Wednesday, payslip is through and got more than I thought I would so might be able to pay both rents without borrowing money - still to do my sums and make a proper budget. However, got my reminder for the dentist so will probably need to put money aside for that. Will sit down with OH over the weekend and get the budget sorted.
Right better get off to bed - busy day at work tomorrow.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
