Went to a charity event this afternoon through work and ended up spending £9 on raffle tickets and tablet. Am very popular with OH as he loves tablet. Went to the gym this morning and I''ve made a £9.33 payment to the loan.

Haven't got round to posting in a few days as work has been super busy, last few days have been NSDs, today I spent £13.01 on food. Only went in for fruit and milk but there was some good YS bargains so stocked up on them. I also spent £4.25 on toiletries.

Payslip is through from 2nd job so will get £62.74 on Friday. It's too late to start thinking about a budget so will do that tomorrow.

Only another 6 months to go :j:j maybe sooner if I keep making lots of overpayments. And yes I am super proud :D

A NSD and went to the gym yesterday. Was planning to go to the gym today, however, I obviously overdid it yesterday as I hurt everywhere so giving it a miss and will go tomorrow instead.

    Payday from 2nd job - £62.74
    - £12.74 loan
    - £25 savings
    - £5 electricity fund
    - £20 social (I've a night out planned next weekend and then heading home the weekend after)

An elderly relative has died and their funeral is far away needing an overnight stay so will have to raid the emergency fund. Well, that's what it's there for and I'm very grateful that I have savings. My parents have organised accommodation so will find out how much I owe them and will need to arrange transport.

I start at 11am today so better start getting myself organised, me and OH are thinking that we might go to the cinema tonight once I finish work.

I am looking forward to your debt free date almost as much as you are Misstara. You are living proof that this can actually be done and such an inspiration to everyone on here. Well done. :)
If you know you have enough, you're rich. ;)

    Aw thanks ani :D

Haven't been on for a few days as I've been away at the funeral, was lovely to see all the family despite the occasion. Took £120 from the emergency fund to cover all the expenses and returned with a few pounds so happy with that.

Loan payment went out today so now up to 82.2% paid :T however debt repayments may take a back seat for the next few months as there's a possibility of us moving flats so would need to save up deposit and first months rent. Will hopefully know over the next month or so if it's definite but the rent would be over £200 cheaper than what we pay now so fingers crossed.

    Thanks monz :D

Can't believe it's almost been a week since I last posted, it's not been a great week - money/debt wise everything is going fine but work has been horrible and stressful, OH's physical and mental health are not so good at the moment and my stomach issues are back leaving me bloated and in pain most of the time. Heading home on Thursday for the weekend so hoping a few days away from it all does me some good.
