LB Enjoy the week off!
It is so nice to see some sunshine - long may it last!
Hope that your friend enjoys her birthday surprises.
Ellie Enjoy the BBQ and hope that you managed to find something to wear. Glad to see that I'm not the only one that struggles to pick a suitable outfit when invited somewhere!A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

I've been known to turn down invites because I feel I have nothing to wear or more likely cba to think about it :rotfl:
If I just lost a stone, I'd have loads to wear
Just popped on to say I luvs holidays, but something very unexpected happened yesterday, which upset me a lot, but life goes on - my cantankerous Coco Chook had to be put to sleep as she developed peritonitis and was in a great deal of pain.
I had read that chickens can appear happy and healthy, and suddenly show they are very ill. But the speed and criticality of her illness has rocked me. RIP my naughty Coco
But, we rescued the day by having a wander in lovely sunshine, got bargains at garden centres including a gorgeous bird bath half price (naturally), argued down the price on a damaged (but strangely more cute because of the damage) cat garden ornament from £15 to £4 :T, and then had a smashing time drinking Cosmopolitans last night.
Am knackered :rotfl:
My 3 remaining girls seem unperturbed this morning...life goes on and it seems chickens have no capacity to mourn, thank goodness. Off to the beach and fishnchips today.
Have a lovely Monday.

got home tonight and DS2 was here with a surprise...a little black and white puppy, only 8 weeks old. oh my goodness, she is soooo cute
I've had a lovely long weekend, but back to normal now. Expect to arrange extra work over the summer tomorrow, so may be busy.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

I'll see what I can do when I have my camera handy.
She's a collie, and so soft and squirmy, but confident and checking everything out.
He's taken her out with DS1 to try and teach her to sit still in the car!
And she only peed on my carpet once...oh well, I never did get round to getting a new carpet, it's still on the To Do list

Our collie used to get very car sick. Fingers crossed this one doesn't. He could also undo zips and steal just about anything edible!0 -

No! It is going to be soooo hard. I couldn't have chosen a better week weather-wise as well.
Just a small lottery win is all it would take...only a million or two...
