    Bumble Bee rescue No.2

Could be an epic fail...in fact I think I trod on it's leg.

Found it on it's back on bedroom floor. Scooped it up and into it's front with one of those back scratcher things , put it out of bedroom window onto a tile. Have fed it some sugar water, but it keeps flipping onto it's back again. Had been drinking, but doesn't look good.

Just gone back up and had to put him on his front again...I think he's a gonner to be honest.

I was about to go to asda, now i'm hanging out of my bedroom window looking like an oddball watching a Bee die.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

It might be the BB's time :( How long do they live?

I have a new client from today, a beautiful ragdoll cat...

I've been to the dentist and need a tooth out, a wisdom tooth, I need all the wisdom I can get, certainly don't learn from experience.

Cornishchick, thanks for the birthday wishes. Having a damn good cry is understandable.

Been to asda, and Bee has gone, I don't know if he's made a recovery, or if mustered up enough energy to fly away from me aand die in peace somewhere. I'm positive he looked at me with a "what the hell are you doing" look...he was pretty covered in sugar water in the end.

Have now had to wash Bee/sugar area so as not to attract more of them into my bedroom, or worse, wasps..!!

I haven't made bread for around25 years....so have just bought a packet mix thing that you just add water to, also got some dates, apricots, walnuts and mixed peel to throw in it....maybe not all at once though. try date ans walnut first. So that's my play thing for tomorrow now....chill out and make bread.

Ragdolls are lovely, my mate has one. He is more like a dog. She used to bring him over to mine (asbo locked away) to hang out with my dog, they like to do fetch....are quite dog-like, and just love hanging out with humans.

I only have two wisdom left now....explains a lot...lol. Have to say it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I imagined..the after pain I mean, as I get knocked out for dentist stuff. Virtually no pain with it after though.

Hope you haven't gone back to work too soon C/chick...not the easiest of environments at times.

    Holy moly......

Call from ex last night, he seems to think he may have sold house already!! This means I need to get my arris into gear. I need to get rest of Barbie room painted, measure for a new carpet, then get him to go to Ikea to get the wardrobes that he said he would build...in exchange for me storing some of his clothes while he's off.

Good news is I can ransack his house for stuff he doesn't want or need too.....must calm myself down though , don't want to give in too much to the hoarding tendencies.....but the water butt and some gardening tools will be handy, as he says he doesn't intend to have a garden again. After spending time on the road and outside for months, I think he'll change his mind and that some garden will be important to retire to....time will tell I guess.

I'm lying in bed, fantasising again about finding a rucksack with loads of money in it....lol. I had a dream years ago that this happened, and every now and again daydream about it actually happening.

Right, must get up, and see if I can make bread.

It's REALLY windy here today, i'm back in the wind tunnel.

    Morning all.
Ariel being sorted today, chap just been in loft. And said there one in there no longer cabled up, so going to try that one first, wil save me about £100 :) ( I've never been in the loft btw)

Oh dear, poor bee, but at least he landed on your windowsill Calico.
As for the rucksack full of cash. Here's hoping.

Work. ... Well I had a informal meeting with my manager, at mine over coffee and cigarettes lol and we have thrashed out an action plan to go forward and sort all the issues I listed. I was worried I had gone too far when I showed him my 2 sides of A4 of my concerns. Lol

Be back later for more exciting news and updates from CC 's life and adventures :)

  • Calico,

One of the mottos for life is "Never underestimate the hankering for a garden" that might arise come middle age on the horizon (must be one of the symptoms I think:rotfl:), so I am not convinced your Ex will settle for not having one come the time.

Ask me how I know....as in gardens barely registered on the horizon when buying Starter House (though that came incredibly late - ie 30s), but these days its one of my 2 criteria on househunting ("detached" and "garden" are the Rightmove ticks I always make now).

Good news for you personally on the "house ransacking" front. :)

A'right...back to my own sort the house out scenario now. Just HOW many pairs of jeans have I got that I cant currently fit into? I have size label 10s, 12s and 14s and even a size label 16:eek:. Yep.....I know MY size is size label 10. Some serious walking/healthy eating coming up.....

I have jeans from an 8 up to 14 too...it's really sad that I keep the size 8's....that is never going to happen again.

I've only just started getting into a garden and growing things.....middle age is here...and i'm on the count down to retirement then.....lol.

Size label 8 jeans = respect! <bows down smilie>. Never say never Calico...you never know.....

I certainly intend to be back in my size 10 jeans at some point. Positive thinking...positive thinking....I must be able to manage to be size 12/14 again. I will...I darn well will....

For right now Calico, I know you follow that thread. So...what did you make of that post 23792 then in the TSHTF thread on "Old Style" sub-forum? I clicked into that video and thought "That there Christine has been on the 'happy juice' or something. !!!!!! is she on about, but she is seriously not "talking logically" whatever....?".

I could see she is clearly saying "something or other", but the !!!!!! as to what exactly it is and am now wondering a bit about her.....

So...whats your verdict then on that little clip?

I can't remember it, is it a recent post?...will try and have a scoot back....baring in mind most religions are based on people being off there heads on some sort of plant or root form of drug....originally anyhow.

Well...have thrown bread mix together...chucked in some dates walnuts, and some apricot for good measure...lol. It's in the spaceship now attempting to rise.......i was never brilliant at bread..so we'll see. No clue what i'm doing re: bread or spaceship...but I don't know what i'm doing with peppers or tomatoes and am now getting flowers on the toms....yay. The beetroot are grown I think. Will LB to look at them sunday and pick them if they are 'done'. I don't like beetroot unless pickled, just wanted to see if I could grow it....i got the plants from LB anyhow, so she may as well have the spoils.

Off to look at that post.

    Just watched it....

??, no clue either. You can read anything into anything if you really want to I guess, so the conspiracy theorists will do what they will.

But hey....i don't trust any of the suckers, so anything is possible. what exactly people think they will do with currency though i'm not sure. If they steal my money they will certainly get the wrath of me though..and many others I would bet. Besides, if they reckon the country is pulling back up and doing so well they'd be hard pushed to go around stealing folks money and being able to justify it.

That day is a sunday too, so unless some meeting takes place that day to make some huge decision not much is happening that day.

I might go shopping on my credit card on the saturday just in case though.

To be honest, I think they are all a bit touched....they do say that most in any position of power have serious personality traits of a psychopath/sociopath/other deep routed personality disorders....and they are all pretty narcissistic let's face it.

    What did you think?
