    Thanks for that.
The lady made out that without the cable you wouldn't be able to view the extra channels. So at least the power line adapter is still an option.
Suppose it shows how far behind BT are compared to sky.
But BT is very appealing to me has I could have everything with them and still save over £120 a year and the added bonus that my broadband would be fibre.

Yes - unfortunately sales staff can only repeat what is in their script, and most probably don't have the knowledge to give alternatives (and would probably be sacked if they did as there is a high chance their comments would be picked up on a review).

    Hi,
Just thought i would give you a update.
On Sunday i ordered Bt infinity 1 unlimited and the bt tv with the kids pack.
Ordering was easy and they have gave me a installation date of the 23rd May.
I went through topcashback so that should give me cashback of £151.50 and then bt give £100 sainsbury's voucher as well.
When i phoned sky to cancel my tv package they kept me on for 30 minutes telling me how good they were compared to bt. But never offered anything.
Tonight i had a call from sky offering 35% of the tv package. But i am still gonna go to bt.

Not without giving out far more personal information than I'm prepared to on a public forum.

Wasn't sure if that still applied now since sky switched to yahoo mail.
