  • Has the Yodel Rep on here ever actually replied to anyone and resolved anything...?
  • i've got a parcel with yodel (unfortunately), their tracking advised that it picked up from service centre last thursday & initially said delivery expected Saturday. it's now just said 'delayed' for 2 days...

email sent to rep as per their profile info

mine still just says delayed, doesn't even look like it's moved from the main depot yet.

& no reply from my email to the rep on here either...
  • Still stuck in the Depot... Ebuyer now trying to find out why Yodel is playing Scan the Parcel with it.

Amazon parcel with Yodel , 3 items Value £124 .

4 December 2014, 3:32 pm, READING SERVICE CENTRE Problem resolved and parcel is in transit

4 December 2014, 3:32 pm, Reading BERKSHIRE GB Parcel left the carrier facility

3 December 2014, 4:12 am, Oldham LANCASHIRE GB Parcel arrived at a carrier facility

2 December 2014, 1:41 pm, Dunfermline Fife UK Parcel has been handed over to the carrier and is in transit

Dunfermline to Oldham ( 20 miles away ) Then Reading 200 miles away ? then nothing for the last 6 days .

    Typical Yodel incompetence !

Amazon are replacing tomorrow and hopefully will stop using this excuse for a carrier .
  • I wrote to Neil Lloyd the Chief Executive of Yodel for all the good it will do, Problems like these come from the Top and go all the way down to the bottom of the ladder. They will probably change their name again next year and pretend it never happened. The only way their shoddy service is going to stop is if companies break off their contracts with them and tell them to get stuffed.

my supplier has now chased up with yodel & they've assured them that my order will be delivered before Saturday now, this was on a 48 hour delivery service that was sent last Thursday 4th...

anyone having an issue should really contact their supplier, i'm just about to email back & say thanks for chasing up with them, but i won't be ordering from you (or any other company) again if you carry on using yodel for deliveries.
  • Yodel Have Given up picking up Parcels from Collection points until at least Monday as they have run out of space in Central and Local Hubs and Depots. The Backlog goes back into November. Incompetence.

I've just had a run in with Yodel .

2 parcels were to be delivered, which I believed to be by Royal Mail at the time of ordering.

Alas, it was to be Yodel .

The first parcel is still lost. They attempted to deliver it, I was out. So I asked for a redelivery at work the following day. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. Despite daily twitter reminders to them, nothing. They are still "waiting for an update from the depot".

As the delivery card wasn't filled it, we weren't sure who the intended item was for, or who from. But by careful tracking of our eBay orders and what is still outstanding and delivery dates, we did track down the likely sender and recipient.

The 2nd parcel, was not such quite a disaster. It was delivered to the builders working next door. Fortunately we know the builders and the neighbours well, so at least we got it eventually.

However when I complained and said they had no right to deliver it to unknown people working next door, as the delivery driver wasn't to know if we knew the builders or not, I was told to take it up as a "mis delivery" with my sender!

So now I check very carefully, and if it's not Royal Mail, then I will try another vendor, then will consider the options. But if it says YODEL. No, it will not get ordered.

    blimey!

this would explain why mine hasn't moved from the depot since last thursday.

no surprise, but tracking still not updated today & still no reply from the yodel rep.

why on earth hasn't somebody taken the decision to not accept any more deliveries? they have to get the backlog cleared somehow. i can just see this turning into a nightmare, new deliveries will get dealt with & the backlog will sit there until after xmas...??

This might explain things, my parcel has been "waiting" status for ages now. I'd assumed it was lost but maybe there's some hope. If it doesn't come soon though, it will be too late. Both Yodel & Sports Direct have been utterly useless about it and don't seem to have any more information than I do.
