Tigerfeet - no need to pierce the swede, just bung it in, in a dish that`ll stop it rolling about!! Time depends on size, so 5 mins then feel if it`s soft, another 5 if it isn`t, then 2 mins after each check till it feels squishable. Older ones cook faster, fresher ones a bit longer (I`ve done this a lot lately. Yummy!)0

Can I add my thanks to everyone too? A day wouldn't be complete without sitting down to a little natter with you all. Thanks so much everyone, especially the people in the background who keep this whole thing rolling along. I learn something from you all every day. Thanks a lot and very best wishes for the New Year:grouphug::beer:The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
