    Good evening everyone ,
today was a pretty dreary and wet day, and I didn't put my nose outside the door until almost seven tonight when I was off to college. As I have both and inside door and an outside one to the porch I didn't spot until I was on my way out a brown package sitting in the porch. On opening it I found a lovely stack of cards and messages from some great people from the site. I assume that sammy-kaye18 had been in touch with you all and how kind it was of you to send me these cards. Aril, ifonlyitwaseasier, katierose, oldMcdonald, bellaquidsin,Jamanda,Mary in Midlothian and of course sammy-kaye18.Thank you all so much I was quite taken aback by it all. Well you'll be pleased to know that I am recovering very well from my last op. and the hospital don't need to see me for another year I have an appointment with the prosthesis lady on the 21st November so by Christmas ,hopefully I shall be in a more ..errm balanced position :rotfl: IYKWIM.basically I shall have a pair of boobs and look more 'normal' than the slightly lop-sided list I have had for the past 18months.:j
People are so kind, and the support (no pun intended) that I have had from the people here has been amazing. so once again thank you all from the bottom of my heart I think you are all :A
    God bless you all

I don't know your address, or you can be sure I'd have sent one too:D Jackie, I think you have been an inspiration to so many on these boards. Not all will have faced cancer or indeed serious illness, but many have been inspired by your *no nonsense* * let's get on with it* attitude. ( I thought I faced cancer pretty well, but I was a novice compared with you:D:o )

Throughout the whole of your illness you have remained steadfastly non self-pitying, with a determination to beat this vile disease. Here's to you being *balanced* very shortly:rotfl: Always harder with us more generously endowed ladies:p Bet you'll look lovely in your Christmas frock;) Very best wishes to you, CM xx
You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Everything that CM said. :D It goes to show though you should stick your nose out the door a bit earlier. :p You have been a real true inspiration to us all. :A
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

I would love to have sent you a card, Jackie0. You are one of the most inspirational ladies I have had the pleasure to 'meet' and I wish you a long, happy and healthy future.

Another all the best message from me JackieO.

You really and truely are an inspiration and I admire the way in which you have handled your illness and continued to live life so vivaciously with us all on the boards.

I also love that I have a gin and tonic friend :D
