Ooooh whats nonny mouse? Can you explain what it is please? I'm[strike] nosy [/strike]intrigued :D

Jackie - I am so happy you got the parcel :) I too follow your posts as they are always so interesting and well worded ((hugs)) I am glad hospital went ok and you are getting "there" now.

Nonny Mouse is just a little forum which I was asked to set up that, if one of our members sees someone in trouble, will do a random act of kindness for that person in trouble.

So far we have helped a few people and there are a few in the pipline :) These acts of kindness have included Jackies cards, a cheer-up package to another MSE Member, there is a food package on the way to another, etc.

Hope his explaines a little but please feel free to PM me with and questions.

    T xx

Just to add my good wishes Jackieo, you put me to shame sometimes with the way you cope with life's nasty bits.
I'm a similar age to you and I really enjoy reading about your lovely family. I wish I had grandchildren.
I'm longing for a big G&T but unfortunately it's not allowed with my cocktail of drugs. My mouth is watering at the thought!!

A nicely chilled white wine is my "beverage of choice", so will raise one to you and will be thinking of you on 21st when you get your balancing act together ;)

I am so glad to hear that you are recovering well, I hope to catch up with you in person at some point and do some more window-shopping! Blackheath is not so far from you so I really hope to see you when I organise the SE London meet (if I ever get around to organising it!).

    Lots of love

I can only echo the sentiments above, though how long it would have taken to arrive from here is another question.
Best wishes for you continued progress.

I always used to make my own meals from scratch but over the years got a bit lazy and with a fussy 20 year old son lost interest
we don't live on ready meals at all but often its a quick bung in the oven dinner but thanks to this forum you have re- awakened my interest in cooking , my slow cooker, menu planning etc etc
and I love all the ways to save money
so I just wanted to say thank you for all the helpful advice I've found on here
