If you squish it so the roll is an oval shape it makes it harder to "unroll" on the holder and so less likely to have an andrex puppy style moment
Doesn't work for me though as OH keeps squishing it back into a round shape!!!
oh thank you I will try that handy hint.:j we seem to eat it in our house!0 -

Thankyou for the board that always gives quick sensible answers without sarcasm and nastiness. Thanks for making me feel accepted in my penny pinching, foraging, ways. Thanks for reminding me about star drops, I used to use it 30 years ago and fogot about it. Thankyou for this site in general and all the tips quidco, pigsback etc I have saved loads of money. I just wanted to say ditto for all of the posts covering the 4 pages before mine!
I love coming on this board and it's inspired me to be the wife and mother I always wanted to be. I love cooking for my family, I even enjoy a little bit of housework (not all of it mind you) and I feel I have learnt to try so many things, (value stuff etc) that being a supermarket snob I wouldnt have had the courage to try!
I find OS living a challenge but not in a bad way. I even got my mum into it.
And lastly thank goodness for Stardrops!!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0
