This board is one of the most welcoming and pleasant places to be full of nice and pleasant people. I know others may think you are a bunch of chicken petting, slo-cooking, bread baking nutters but I think you're alright!:p
I've just been looking at another board that I read daily. It is a telling fact that although I fully understand the systems and practices discussed and have been 'doing it for years' I never post on this board - only read. I'm stunned by the rudeness of some 'experienced' posters who feel they can be short, dismissive and rude to all and sundry especially newbies.
Thank all that is home-made that the Ol'Stylers continue to endorse the MSE mantra that "there is no such thing as a stupid question" and take great delight in celebrating this fact with many a 'stupid answer'Little wonder we Ol'Stylers don't stray too far from the coop.:D

You're correct about this board MATH, I don't realy stray from here! Have you mentioned this to the board guides? perhaps they could remind their posters about Martin's words0

I have to agree with Math.
I frequent another board about living below your means and when ever you post someone just comes along and rips you apart. Rather than being happy for you.
So little wonder I don't post there very often.
I am not sure why people are like that. Why they want to bring you down when you are having good time.
And of course only there way is the right way and you are totally wrong.
This board is turning in to my home from home. It is great to be able exchange ideas and people feel happy for you even though it may seem silly of simple. Like I harvested my lettuces today.
That gives me great joy but most other people are like so what.
Never mind.
A nice warm glow emits from this board.
Yours

I am only part O/S but I love this board. I read every thread and just use the bits that apply to my lifestyle. The grocery challenges have completely changed my spending habits and are saving me a fortune weekly.
I have never felt anything but welcome. :T
Thankyou everyone :T0 -
Totally agree, this is my favourite board by a long way!! Other boards I have occasionally posted on, whilst nice enough replies, O/S is just the best!!
You are all lovely people!!

Well said Math:beer:,
I too frequent another board (same one as Calley & a few others I recognize) but I don't post on there any more having been flamed once or twice. Never happens here...even if it does it isn't personal & is in a OK sort of way. Big pat on the back to everyone :A

Lillibet,
Glad that it is not just me that thinks like that about that board.
We are all trying to help each other. But they seem to want to rip you apart.
